Best 360 Game?
I ended up with some extra cash a few months ago, so I sprung for a 360.
I'm too cheap to buy a lot of games (I always wait till they go way down in price) And I had my regular X Box games, But I wanted to get one new game.
I heard a lot of people say that Gears of War was the best X Box 360 game. Personally I'm not super impressed. I don't love the game play, I hate the grenade handling, and the whole game is grey. (I am constantly shooting my own people--they look the same as the bad guys)
The graphics are phenomenal, and it is a decent game... but I would have rather waited and paid $30 instead of the initial $70.
So what is the best game?

Halo is ace as far as the 360 games I've played
Not really a 360 fan personally but whateva
Dead or Alive is good
Can't say for sure which one is the best but those r 2 games I enjoy/enoyed

Dead Rising was a cool game. Stranglehold was ok also. I think most people would say Halo 3 though.

hmm, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Bioshock. Hands down one of the most beautiful games i've ever seen. Its even got a pretty good story behind it, and even though it has all the elements of a FPS, there's also a rpg touch as well.
OH, and halo 3 is awesome. but only get it if your interested in the online multi player, as the campaign is kinda lacking challenge. but all around a good game, none the less.
btw, I've not played it yet, but i've noticed thorlords been playing a ton of Guitar Hero 3  come on man! lets play some "infected"!

Bioshock is amazing, Halo 3 has amazing replayability, orange box is incredible, those are just the top 3 off of the top of my head.
if you want to play some arcade games, you are required to get Geometry Wars Retro Evolved
there are tons of great games, you will be able to find many easily.

Ya, I would have to agree with the majority on Halo 3. Dead Rising is pretty good, and Bioshock is pretty awesome.

If you're really into RPG's, ES's Oblivion is worth it, especially w/ the GotY edition that just came out, also Two Worlds, though that game is either a Love it or Hate it game ATM.

The best xbox 360 game I've played, without a doubt is Call of Duty 4. My friend just got me into this game. But on COD4 it's kinda like playin paintball or airsoft. The graphics are great as can be and it's cool how u unlock weapons and rank up. I think the best graphics for 360, though, would have to be Gears of War. The designers just unloaded the tech into that game. And the best single player, I think, is Assassin's Creed. The graphics are amazing and the freedom is endless. But that's just me and my live tag is :Sgt Biz

Well to be honest all the game mags I've read say that Assassin's Creed is a load of b******s, They said game play is 20% story is 20% graphics are 20% and the rest is just aload of roaming around they rated it 7/10 but i want to try it out for christmas i can always take it back,Halo 3 is frikken awesome!I completed a few day's ago.

Any halo fanboy needs to die. it's not that great of a game. all they did was take halo 2, give it some makeup, change the story, and added the forge. woopty freakin do. It's not that great of a game. I like Halo 2 better in all honesty.
Assassins creed is alright, it just gets really repetetive. Bioshock was a great game, but I found that there being only two endings was rather diminishing. I've heard nothing but good things about Call of Duty 4, but just haven't played it. I have just been occupying my time with the orange box, namely Team fortress 2.
It's the best in depth multiplayer I have ever seen. You have to rely on your teammates to help you out because there is no "dominant class" out of the nine available.

Yeah Assissins Creed it just awesome! Very easy to finish though, and after wards, it can get boring... but is still always fun... Oblivion! awesome! tons to do throughout the whole game, takes ages to wear off.
Halo 3... Good, very short, but awesome for online and multiplayer...!
Thats my verdict...

i would say assassins creed or halo 3. maybe rock band cuz its really awesome also. i dont know but one of those 3. HALO 3 and ASSASSIN"S CREED FTW!
