Because I Said So
So, i realized that I have more money than i know what to do with in my account. So, how do we celebrate this occasion?
Easy! We have a RRREEEAALLLLLLLYYY random contest. The name of this one is (as the title says), Because I Said So. It's a lot like "Truth or Dare"... but more of a contest... (and you don't get "chickens").
Here's how it works.
Participants that sign up for this contest will, once the contest starts, be given a number at random (ranging between 1 and however many participants there are).
Along with YOUR number, you will also be told who's number you "pulled", and who "pulled" YOUR number (this is, also done randomly...usually). And this is when the game begins. From here on out, the players will have to do what they're told, and come up with things to make other players do.
Here's an example, to attempt to make this less confusing:
Jody, Mark, Billy, and Sarah are playing.
Jody = 1
Mark = 2
Billy = 3
Sarah = 4
Jody sees in the the round that she has pulled 3 (Billy), and she sees that Mark pulled 1, which is Jody's number. Jody is told what she has to do from Mark, and she has to tell Billy what to do for the round. Assuming that everyone does what they're told, the round goes by and the next one starts. But, assuming that Billy can't do the task that Jody set for him by the given date (yes, there is a time limit), the Billy will be disqualified and the next round begins.
Now, what do i mean by "tasks" and "being told what to do"? Well, like i said before, this is like a game of truth or dare. You can ask (and be told) to answer questions, do a specific task... anything really. AS LONG AS THE TASK IS WITHING A PG-13 RATING AND IS POSSIBLE!!!
So...
No nudity, nothing illegal, nothing that requires more time than is given for each task, nothing that involves the player spending their own money (yes, that means NONE of their money. Not even a penny), and nothing that would make me tell you that you need to rethink the task you gave out.
This is a game with an unlimited amount of rounds. The way you win is to be the last person standing. It can be as short as one round, and as long as well.... a lot more rounds. This contest may or may not involve the participants needing a webcam, camera, mic.... other things like that. So, when you sign up, please tell me what you have access to, so that I may tell the OTHER participants what they're allowed to do. Also, tell us anything that would hinder your ability to do tasks (like work or school for tasks that may require some time).
Now, as this IS a contest, i suppose there should be some sort of reward. And there is, 1mil gil. Yes, for doing random crap each week or so and keeping up with it, you will be awarded 1,000,000 gil. Nice, right?
This game needs at least 3 people to be played. Last day to enroll is the last day in July (the 31st). And, because i'm totally randomizing everything, I will be participating (in which case, if i win, i get to keep my gil). That means only 2 more people are needed, but this game will be a lot more fun with more people. Also, be sure before you sign up that you're prepared to check the thread for the contest at least once a week for updates (who drew who and whatnot). If you don't respond (meaning you didn't do your task and didn't give a task) and i do not receive a reason ahead of time (like going on vacation or something), you WILL be dropped from the contest.
