Beast trainer
Hey you guys know that beast trainer in the calm lands? Has anyone beat all of his monsters?
I mean some of them seem to be impossible. Like the Neslug, you get him down on health and he goes inside his shell and he litterally regains like 194,760 health back when you can only do up to 99,999 damage!
Also something really funny happened with the Tanket. I summoned Anima cast haste, regain, shell, and protect on him. So when I got it down on heal and it went to do its stupid "Rush attack" He couldn't kill anima who just kept regenerateing, The bad part is that the attack never ends so I had to restart the PS2. >.<
Any help would be great.

For the neslug thinky, my mast uses double cast ultima with the party doing over 99,999 damage in total with each turn and for the helm thing... passado from the magus sisters... I gave up though  (his party are insanly strong anyways)

using ulitma twice in one turn... and having high magic... I couldn't do that much even with my strongest data... I use the cheat -- Yojimbo

Yojimbo has an attack called Zanmato. It basically chops the enemy in half (or otherwise just kills them), the only enemies immune to this attack are underwater fiends, but only because Yojimbo can't be summoned XD.
For Neslug, give Wakka 255 strength and do a 12-hit attack reels just before it enters its shell to bypass it's shell/regen phase. His agility doubles, but it's still not hard. Alternatively, if you have the dark aeons, Anima can also bypass the shell with oblivion at 255 strength.
For Tanket, he constantly does Rush Attack if there is only one target as it is a very quick attack (rank 1) AND causes heavy delay. Just do a few quick hits and he'll go down quickly.
I've beaten them all normally, and also beaten half of them at base stats (without using Zanmato)

neslug lolz....Ultima, Flare, or Holy ...Ultima double Cast, Copycat and let them do the work...

Holy is an awful approach since it can't be doublecasted. Attack reels is definately the best route. A blitx ace followed by a couple of Doublecast Ultima's isn't bad.

well each of my damage to neslug is 99 999 so it's 2x every chracter...when he's shell break thats when you can use attack again..
