Battle Royale
(tell me if this is a good idea or not but i watched the film recently and thought it would make a great RP)
You thought it would be just another school trip, although it seemed to be taking forever to get there. yet you fell asleep on the bus and woke up in a dark classroom, your friends lying next to you, you slowly get up and realise that you dont know where you are and that you have a metal collar around your neck. Your class teacher enters the room accompanied by several soldiers. He stands at the front and explains that you and your class have been chosen to play a game as a part of the BR act. "Today's lesson, is for you to kill each other off" he says. A TV is wheeled into the room and a video is played. An all to enthusiastic woman tells you that you are on a small island off the coast of Japan, The collar attatched to your neck is 100% waterproof and shockproof, if you try to remove it, it will explode. Also this game has a time limit, if in three days there isnt a winner all the necklaces will explode
Your names are called out in register order and each of you is given a backpack with food, water, a map, a compass and a random weapon, you leave the building one by one

yeah thats three days in the story not in real life
in fact i just thought of a better idea, ill PM you with the weapon you recieved, cos nobody else would know until you used it
Also for anybody who did watch the film i will assume you would all avoid danger zones so i haven't included them

yeah nothing weapon-ish, your bags are searched before you wake up, knives or anything sharp is taken out and pencils are blunted, phones don't receive a signal so they're useless for phonecalls sorry i didnt explain this before but that would be a little too easy lol
Lets get this clear form the start. im gonna act sort of like a GM for this RP and make sure everyone plays fairly so what i say goes as im not a PC so to speak, this does not mean i will be god modding or any * like that im here to make sure that this is a fun RP just like GMs do in paper and pencil RPGs, i will not be killing anyone off with my NPCs (unless youre really stupid and therefore deserve it) and I wont be modifying anything after the start of the game. I will explain the story as you progress and describe things like scenery and other things you will want to know (like if you find an ammo clip at your feet) you may or may not find this odd giving one person so much power but it does make everything equal for all of the PCs and seeing as I myself am not playing i have no reason to skew things as the GM cant win lol

All of you leave the school building and wherever you go you are long gone before the next person leaves
Correct me if im wrong as i cant read japanese but the triangle in the middle is the peak of a mountain, the green building in E4 is the school where you start, the red building in D6 is a large warehouse, the building at I10 is a lighthouse, and the green building in G3 is a clinic/house. there are various other small buildings like shacks and shrines dotted around the island so you can create these as you like. Before each post state which square on the map you are in for the purposes of telling if you are in the same square as someone else or how close you are to other people and remember this is meant to be fun, it wont be if you somehow "know" or have a hunch where everyone is. remember what your character is going through and thinking, and be reasonable with traveling distances probably about 3 squares at a time is the maximum. This is Battle Royale so be as graphic and gory as you like with deaths or anything else actually just dont break any site rules =)
