Battle Royale 2 story, character profiles and discussion
Okay due to lack of interest im my last attempt at starting a roleplay i'll run whith something that ive done before which worked quite well.
Your compulsory education is coming to an end, youve spent the last few years attending Shikanotoride junior high school, a school for troubled youths who for whatever reasons wont be accepted by other schools. The school has arranged a trip for your class to Tokyo for christmas and new year. The coach trip is a long one and you fall asleep on the way there.
When you wake up you and your friends are still on the coach and it's night time but your gut tells you something is very wrong, you look out of the window and notice that the coach is parked inside what appears to be a military camp, soldiers are everywhere and searchlights permeate the darkness in the distance. Your instincts tell you that something else is wrong however and thats when you notice it, the cold weight around your neck, you grasp and pull at it but it wont budge, the rest of your friends have these collars as well and as they begin to rouse from their sleep the door at the front of the coach opens and a stream of soldiers file in.
There is anarchy in the coach and one of the soldiers grabs you violently and drags you outside with several others from your class. What seems to be at least a company of soldiers are outside holding back large crowds of photographers and people with cameras and microphones. Your class is herded towards a tent where you are all forced to change your trousers for combats and are given camo jackets and a watch. Keeping you all moving the soldiers herd you next into a concrete building and into a metal cage within. the room is well lit and there is a blackboard at one end of the cage. The doors close behind you and most of your class stuggles, pulling on the metal doors trying to escape. The soldiers around the outside of the cage fire their guns at the ceiling and there is a chorus of screaming before the class settles down.
You all turn around back towards the blackboard and notice that a man has appeared. He is wearing a suit and on his breast is a peach shaped badge which you recognise as a government symbol. "Merry Christmas" the man says with a cheerful voice. The class explodes with raised voices; "who are you?" "what are we doing here?" "where are we?" " what the %#*! do you think youre doing?" are just some of the questions you pick out before a soldier behind you bellows "SILENCE."
The man at the front grins. "Those are all very pertinent questions, how about i answer some of them for you. We all heard about the terrorist bombings last christmas didnt we? (several people nod) Hundreds of people died in the series of bombings in Tokyo, even more were left without jobs. You are here because you are going to kill the people responsible for those deaths. Mainly one Moonlight (played by loinheart in the last battle royale) who leads the terrorist group Wild Seven who are hiding on an abandoned island." Several people protest and after being silenced once more the man continues. "You may of course choose not to partake in delivering justice to these criminals but Japan has no need for apathetic individuals and as such they will be killed right here and now." The room was silent. "That's what i thought."
A door opend at the other end of the cage and two soldiers with a large trolley full of kit bags came in. " These contain the rest of your equipment I will call you out in order and you will take your bag and leave by the door behind me." suddenly a voice called out from the group of students. "What's with these collars?" The man look almost shocked. "OH I had completely forgotten, those collars you all sport so proudly moniter your life signs. You are each tagged with ID numbers which assign boys and girls in pairs, should anyone move more than 50 meters from their partner both partner's collars will...explode." One of the students lept forwards with a knife in his hand and before he could do anything else his head was blown apart by a soldier. His body flopped to the ground and a pool of blood and other fluids formed around his face. Then a beeping started coming from the group, a girl pushed her way out and you notice that a red light on her collar is blinking. Once again the man grins "You must be this poor fellow's partner I should also explain that should your partner die for any reason you will die also. So stick close." ^_^
The beeping and blinking sped up and the girl went hysterical running around the room screaming and begging people to save her, the beeping got faster still until she ran at the man shouting "NOOOOO" at the top of her lungs. The collar exploded just before she reached the man and the spray of blood drenched him before she joined the boy on the floor.
The man wiped his face and still grinning called out "BOY #1..."
