that's right, and besides, thinking about it, fans all over the world are always begging for something new, so Square gave it to them. And that's always what Square's been about... breaking barriers and trying something new.
I'm sure there would have been just as many complaints if they used similar formulas as in older games

I just have to dissagree...I mean good for them for trying something new....but I actually like to play my games not click on a bunch of commands and let it run itself XD I chose to turn them all off except I think the healing one and the one that told the other characters to follow the leader in battle or whatever...the rest of them I felt just made it way to easy and didnt leave me with anything to do XD

I think the difficulty of most of the enemies, especially the hunts, more than made up for that xD

It all comes down to play style, and strategy. With the gambits set its just a 'wait and see' for most fights..

i mean
i found that even though its a long winded game (all other ff int he series almostXD) i could play again after a while to get extra parts and the story could still suck me in
i cant see that happening with ff12
and besides the hunts there isnt much to do worthwhile
