.....i meant it as we didnt use wikipedia in our school for research it wasnt really a big thing XD
we generally werent allowed to use the net and had specific textbooks XD

....for all your papers, you could only use specific textbooks?
im talkign about highschool not college
so yes we were genberally not supposed to rely on the internet, i can think of two times we were told to use it outside of shcool lessons

Even in middle school though, they wouldn't let us use only one source. Granted, they wouldn't let us use internet sources until 8th grade, but we still needed at least 5 different sources for each paper.
then again, my school system was pretty much a college-prep place. So everything we did from 4th grade up was to get us ready for college and university (ESPECIALLY in highschool). So maybe it's different in other schools here.
