anyone play starcraft?
I love starcraft because it has immense replayablity with custom maps. the trigger system is so complex, there are literally hundreds of totally different games you can make from sc's map editor. i still play it every once in a while, and every time I go online, there are still new innovative maps around. people say its dead, but there are still many people on battlenet (although most are in asia). </praiserant>

yeah, i play it from time to time. its... the best rts game to date i feel. and considering how many ppl are one (i know plenty that arent asian its far from dead. i havent played ina long time though. busy and all.

im so pissed that blizzard just ditched Starcraft. everyone cries out for Starcraft 2. but what do we get? a FPS.
now FPS's are good and all. but i think we wanted an RTS.
i hear there is a mod squad converting Warcraft III into starcraft. the legality of it was in question by the mod squad but they said that they were tired of waiting for blizzard to make starcraft 2 and just started on their own.
[edit] and when i say questioning legality, i mean the mod squad has so much respect for the blizzard team that they said that they would stop their work if blizzard thought it volited any laws, even if it wasent illigal they would stop if blizzard asked them too.
