Anyone play any of the Metroid Prime games for the Gamecube?

I thought that Metroid Prime was really cool, and Echos was good but the Dark World was kinda annoying since it was so easy to die Razz I liked it though, not trying to bash it. It kinda reminded me of The Legend of Zelda OoT only you were in a different world instead of a different time.

Yes. I own the first one.
To be honest though, like most nintendo games, it starts off really boring. But it made up for that later on. Good game but I haven't finished it because I was tied up with uni, and then when the holidays came I was addicted to FFX.

Yup, I totally agree it did start out boring, I was like "Man this feels nothing like Metroid" then later on they really picked things up. I probably only enjoyed it because I was a huge fan. Super Metroid I still play that game RULES! I love the music for Super Metroid that game was so ahead of it's time.

Ya, I've got Prime, too. I've been waiting for the price to drop on Echoes before I buy it. Prime was insanely hard in parts, but really fun once it got going. Big ol' monsters, too, which was great.

It sure did take some getting used to in the 3-D, though. Woo, that was different.

You'd probably love Zero Mission, if you haven't played it. It's a lot like Super Metroid.

Heck I don't remember if I had a problem with him, but I do know that every boss had a weakness. It would be a lot harder to beat them if you do not follow a certain pattern to beat him.

lol, well I am sure with enough tries you will get lucky Wink You may not have found all of the energy powerups so you are probably weaker then you are supposed to be.

Yeah, that ice boss was hard for me, too. Figuring out the weakness isn't too bad, but getting down the timing required was rough.
