Anyone knows how to play in xp???
Heya people
I played FFVIII when i had win98
Now I tried to install it on xp and doest work!!!!
Please help me
If anyone knows what to do please post a reply
I´m from Argentina and here there is not many people
adicted as I am to FF series ;P

I have no problem on playing it on XP, the only problem is I cannot alt-tab to window like I used to played on win2k

i think that s because, XP didnt want to support things that were that far back, so try and look for one this is compatible for XP

i hv a prob wif dat too... well i used to play on my PSone but wen i got my laptop i wanted to try FF8 on it... coz u get to use the chocobo world function...
so i went to get the dvd but couldn't even get thru disc1... right at the dancing scene... the cg just crashes....
mayb its my video cards fault...
Any ideas how to solve dis prob for laptops?

I have seen so far that installing the patch, and reinstalling whenever you get a recurring crash will make it work. Granted, this is tedious (especially when it crashes after Dollet, but before you get to save  ), but I haven't had any problems in XP that that won't fix.
