I dont know if this is known to others yet, but I just read about it the other day. Stargate is making I think it was 2 straight to DVD movies to end the series. Coming out fall 2007. All the main cast has signed on and they have been talking to Richard Dean Anderson to make an appearance.

so, for the record, as of today maybe? or at least the last 2-3 days they recently put up stargate atlantis season 1-5 (is that all of them) onto netflix instant streaming. im pumped as i never got to it and im too lazy to download the season and... well yeah.
also, both the movies are on their as well. (not the original move from like 1985 but the two with cast members from the show.)
first off, they have the first season (20 episodes) of stargate universe on netflix as well now. and though its definitely more drama than science fiction, im pretty into it. just finished season 1 and season 2 doesnt start till sept 28th and believe me, cliff hangers all over the place. the production value is pretty high given its syfy and theres a ridiculous amount of character depth that you just dont see these days unless its like a prime time drama. taking all that into account, i recommend it. it may be a slow start but give it 3-4 episodes and youll start picking characters you like (which later in the season will totally turn a different direction... its pretty awesome)
and in other news, it seems as of the last day or two, every season of stargate sg-1 is also on netflix instant streaming.
so every possible stargate story (minus the original movie) is now avalible on netflix instant streaming. bad@ss
SG-1 is waaaaaaay better Love Jack O' Neill soo sad that he's not really in it anymore
Seymour: Life is but a passing dream, but the death that follows is eternal.
Seymour: But there is no salvation for the damned! Rest in peace in eternal darkness.
Lulu: No matter how dark the night, morning always comes, and our journey begins anew.
Rikku: Memories are nice, but that's all they are...

SGU is by far the best Stargate related series out there. Too bad it went bellyup. I would say it was the BSG of the Stargate universe. Good character driven plot, excellent acting. It is so good! SG-1 not soo good. Atlantis even worse... SGU, someone get a mop cause my ears just gasm'd all over the floor!
