Any Star Trek The Next Generation Fans?
Only curious, since I owned all of the DVDs for the season and watch them over and over again Best TV series ever known to man, each episode was like a full length movie.

Yeah, I'm a big fan. My dad was big on the original series, so I grew up with that in my early childhood, and carried that over to Next Gen. I still try to watch Next Gen when I can catch it on, Spike TV shows it a lot.
And they show MacGuyver right after, so it's like two of the best shows ever right together.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude I can talk about TNG all day long!! Yeah Spike TV shows it a lot, in fact that was the reason I purchased all of the DVDs because I had forgotten how amazing the shows were. I have seen every MacGuyver episode as well, but I think I was only a fan of it when I was younger. Growing up my friends and I used to really be big on electronics, and shows like that sparked our imagination. I used to invent all kinds of appliances for my house heh, then when I got a little older I began creating cool things for cars, building speaker enclosures, and then began making my own furniture!
When I look back it seems like that was all a dream.

I know how you feel. I used to make a few little things, too, though probably nothing as big as what you did. These days I hardly ever do that anymore.
So which season of TNG was your favorite? I think I liked the third or fourth the most, the ones before they started focusing on all the Bajoran stuff that lead into DS9.

Yes, 3 - 5 ruled, the third was by far the best. However I wont bash 6 or 7 I kinda liked how they focused more on the characters and did a good job of ending the series by answering most of our questions.
I always watch the seasons in numerical order, then when 7 is done I take out the DVD and put in the 3rd season again I have the second season as well but it was amazing how cheesy it was hehe, I knew that in the 3rd season they got new writers which is why it was so great.

Yes a lot of the Star Terk Original Movies were great, man I really wished they could have done a TNG movie where they went back in time to modern day earth like Star Trek the original did when they were looking for those whales. That movie was great

Yeah... I think it stinks that they probably won't make any more TNG movies. When the last one came out, they were billing it as the last movie with the TNG cast. 'Course, no one told the TNG cast anything about that.

lol To be honest I would love a new TNG movie since I love all of the actors but I didnt think they were all that great storywise. I watch them because I am a fan but they make Picard so different, back in the show days he was very serious but kind, was so cool and could handle any situation but he wasnt perfect. In the movies he cracks corny jokes that is not the Picard I know

Yeah, they did mess with is character a lot. I guess they think they have to change a ton of stuff to draw in an audience, but they don't realise the audience doesn't want to see those changes.

Yeah, they had to make it so that anyone new to Star Trek would like him I'm guessing.

I love movies that do things like that, kinda like everyone's reacting to the Terminator in T2
