"It... worked?", says Alice turning her head around briefly and seeing the carnage, then she fixes her heading back towards where the others are running.
When she gets close enough she says, while panting,"Ok. Good job guys. Now we just need to find a way to get on through. Any thoughts?"
Alice is barely able to slow down because of the speed of Kantian's walk. But she makes it look less suspicious by loosening up and not running like her life is on the line.
Kylie, now in a half awake state, spoke " We should hurry, and get in before anyone receives news of the death.... unless we can wait till tomorrow, and sleep out here." Kylie then got up and sudenly felt extremely dizy. " If we do get in, could we stop at some cafe?" She spoke in a soft tone.
" then find your... friend and get to...umm... porthedland? Then head... est and... etc.?"
Kylie had to think really hard to remember where they were heading, it started to hurt her head and then she collapsed and lied on the ground, awake, but weak.
David and Jason arrived at Jefferson's door and knocked. They waited about 10 seconds and then rang the doorbell. they kept knocking for a few minutes and then Jason spoke.
Jason: Maybe he's not home?
David: Then should we just go look and keep check around town?
Jason: Probably. Let's start at the exit of the explosion.
David: Alright let's hurry, Jefferson might give us a raise if we catch whoever it is by ourselves.
Jason: alright let's go.
Jason and David then ran to the explosion site, and then jogged up to where The group was standing.
Kylie got off of Kantian and then fell back down.
David being the more built out of him and Jason ran and kept Kantian in a lock, while jason was doing the same to Alice. They assumed The cat-chick was to weak to even stand up for a minute, let alone run away.
David: State your business here god damn Lizard!
Jason whispered into Alice's ear " sorry I'm doing this, if i don't do what my friend says my boss and he beat me. please don't worry, I do not wish to hurt you"
David then squeezed Kantian attempting to hurt him.
Alice whispers back,"He is just one man. If you help us out before any backup comes, we can overpower him and you can come with us. We plan on going to another continent. Maybe you could find freedom there. But you will never get away from them if you don't try. You will just end up getting beat again eventually. A wise man once said that a person who treats another as his slave is the one who loses his humanity, not the one who is treated as a slave, they will become worse if you stay with them. It is only a matter of time."
Jason spoke in a shocked whispered tone" But... what if it doesn't work? I will given the rack!... Oh well, i guess you're right." Jason then let go of Alice and took out his shotgun and aimed it slowly at david. Jason was shaking all over, he fell to the ground and hit his head on a rock. David then stomped on Jason's knee, still not letting go of Kantian. "Your such an idiot Jason! Jefferson will have your head for sure now!" david yelled as Jason bled on the ground crying "it Hurts!" over and over again.
"HEY!",yells Alice,"Don't blame him, hotshot, I threatened him with this if he wouldn't do it!"
Alice pulls out a trusty 'nade from off of her belt and walks over holding the squeeze trigger.
"And if you are smarter than that last group of guys you will know that this thing is for real. So just back away and run away as quickly as you can and we don't all go sky high. Understand?", says Alice.
Kantian's head turned around to look at David, a pause floated in the air as they stared at each other for a second and out of nowhere Kantian let out the most deafening roar of unimaginable ferocity, David was overwhelmed with noise, spit and the smell of last month's breakfast.
As Jason gained volume, David understood what he was up against, he paused let go of Kantian and stared at the sky above kantian's head. a second later Kylie's cell rang. David ran and picked it out of kylie's pocket. "hello?"
Kylie's dad - "who is this!?!"
David - " wait... are you... Jared?"
Kylie's dad - "Yes that's right, who are you?"
David - " I am David Farewell, part of your San Fran secret devision"
Jared - " so you are one of those humans who have joined us?"
David - " Yes and i'm well tied up, may call you later?"
Jared - " No. let me talk to kylie"
David - " Kylie is unconcious"
Jared - " what happened?!"
David - " I dont know but she is with people i believe are against us, call this cell in a bit K?"
David hung up befor Jared could answer. " Well I got to go, so I'll see you another day." David then ran back to san fran.
