The world is decaying, thanks to Anti-Climatic. They are draining to world of its force for unknown reasons. it is now the year 3050. in 3000, A-C managed to make technology crash. There is no more internet, TV or radio. There are still phones and cellphones althought. A-C still has the technology we have at the moment, and some more. A-C was basicly controlling the world until 3049. The Leader of A-C's daughter's best friend betrayed A-C and gave away the location of A-C's main base in Bangor, Maine, which was only connected to the base in seatle, which is now being infultrated. The leader has moved to london leaving his daughter to defend the base.
Most the world is dessert but in america forests have grown and rivers were created. africa is nothing but desert, the nil still intact but is now the only source of water in all of africa. Europe is mostly cities and cities of semi animals who have joined A-C. Europe now belongs to A-C.
The main base in Bangor is now the base of hunters, specially trained to defeat A-C.
Asia is nothing but mountains all over, japan has drowned and china was destroyed by semi-animals. Australia, the only place left as it is now is also owned by A-C. New Zealand was overrun by sheep-humans, who all drowned as new zealand was sinking. The north and south poles are frozen tundras filled with snow. That covers how the world is.
semi-animals are usually also part human but some are also part vampire or part werewolf.
semi-animals that live in america and europe are treated like slaves, yet those know by the treator of A-C and herself are well respected and have joined the hunters, but the rest are hated by all humans.
the hunters are infiltrating the seatle base of A-C at the moment. They are trying to find the base that is draining the strength from the earth, yet the only ones who know is the leader, his dead wife and his daughter.
unfortunetly, no one can duplecate the technology in the main base so only the hunters can use it. Not knowing if the seatle base is the draining base or if it is even connected to another base they infiltrated it and that is where the story begins.

background info: Kylie is the daughter of the leader of A-C. She was forced to join by her father so her best friend joined to, but they were not in the same base to minimize distractions. When the bangor base was found, Kylie's dad left to London and left her to defend the base. KLylie's mother died in 3032 so kylie did not know her that well.

Although he is strictly speaking half human, he is more like a huge lizard to look at. This has earned him more than his fair share of discrimination including 5 years as a mining slave for an african diamond company. He eventually escaped captivity and fled into Europe seeking a new life. He found it when he met the hunters. Fessard has become the answer to any problems the hunters cant solve with subtlety, his brute strength and intimidating form often resolves situations before it comes to violence, because lets face it if you dont take him out in one shot he's probably gonna tear your arms off and beat you with them, or so most people reason.

Velocity is a rogue. She doesn't know who to back. She just knows all this discrimination crap is wrong. Her family being people who passed on history or by books since the crash, she has learned about guys like Plato and Socrates, and figured out that all the discrimination was bull. After hearing about ghosts in machines and stuff, she that anything sintient was equal. And that means that if the AC don't have a good explaination for this crap, she is going to take them down. She has made it her mission to find out what the motives of the AC are. And if they don't justify this or if they are going to end up harming more than helping, which she sees as the likely scenario, she will try to make them go boom. And she sees anyone in her way as an enemy of all sentient life, who will also go boom. Luckily, her family also told the secrets of how to make wonderful explosive devices named after a fruit called the pomegranate...

Kylie was hiding behind a wall holding her sawed off shotguns. looking over towards the main entrance to the main lab. shooting the hunters that pass. Inside the lab more soldiers are the defending the data gathered.
-Kylie's cell rings, playing the beginning theme of the Yoshi story game-
Kylie answers her cell
Kylie - "Hello?"
Kylie's dad - "Hello Kylie it's you dad, hows it going?"
kylie - "What the hell do you F*cking want?!"
kylie's dad - "Whats the matter?"
Kylie - " Well for first you foprced me to join AC, and then you took my away from all of my friends , and then made me defend the base!"
kylie hung up the phone on her dad and kept on defending the base. The phone did not ring again. She ran down the hall trying to escape but ended up running away from more hunters.

She felt the grenades in her hands and smiled. 'My best friend...', Alice thought. She griped the grenade firmly and thought,'My only friend.' She looked down deep in thought in the abandoned old train station that she was in sitting on the slight ledge, overlooking the tracks where trains once drove on. 'So powerful... so fiery...so explosive... yes, you are a good friend, my grenade.', she thinks as she hugs her selected grenade and then puts it back on her belt with the others.
"Soon... you will be able to show them your power...and maybe...maybe we will get some answers", Alice says to herself.
Alice wipes the dust off of a pillar in the station revealing a small sign that shows the stops the train used to take.
Alice then jumps off the ledge and heads left. She stops suddenly, pulls out a grenade and throws it to what was the waiting area near the sign.
"I don't want it to look safe... people might follow", she says.
As she walks onward into the tunnel, the grenade sails through the air and hits the sign that had just been dusted off in the waiting area that read,"Stops: (1) Seattle" and had an arrow...pointing left.
Just as she goes around a bend she hears the explosion and smiles.
Kylie was now in the library of the base, going threw the books and having no interest in any of them.
Kylie - "Not a singly good book."
kylie then filled a duffel bag with the books and walked to the furnace and stood there for a minute.
Kylie - " maybe i can burn my way out..."
kylie grabbed a piece of wood of the floor and made a torch out of it and then walked to most eastern wall of the base, and she planted all the books there and watched. as the flames were dancing kylie started to hear some one approaching, she raised her SOSG and prepared to fire.
As she walked down the tunnel she noticed gradual changes in the tunnel from a tunnel like form to building like and before she knew it she was standing looking at a building the wall. She touched it and it was warm, she stuck her ear to it and could hear burning.
'Heh. Looks like there is some trouble in there. Maybe someone wants out. I will help', she thinks.
"If there is anyone there, stand back!", she yells, then she throws a grenade at the burning wall and stands back.
Fessard sat in his room, dimly lit by a fire in the middle, the smell of decay coming through the bare brick walls. This is where he was told to await a new assignment. There was only one door, through which he had entered, and the room was completely bare and empty save for his favorite axe which sat in the corner shimmering slightly in the fire's light.
Something wasnt right. A new smell wafted over him, faint as it was, smelled like...gunpowder or explosives. There had been a tremour a couple of minutes ago but cave-ins were common in these neglected underground passages so he thought nothing of it at the time. Fessard became tense, straining to hear or smell what was coming. His eyes widened as a muffled noise like a voice came from one of the walls and a light tap like a rock hitting the other side. He slowly stood up and moved away slowly, reaching for his axe...
The grenade blows up, causing a hole in the wall.
"Man, beast, or man-beast, do not fear, your salvation is here! No "thank you's" are needed.
Alice looks and sees a small fire and a large lizard-man and blinks.
"You...you didn't need rescuing did you. Ooo. Nice axe. So shiny. Hey, I am heading for the A/C place, you wouldn't happen to know where that is would ya? Seeing as I tried to save your life. I know, I know you weren't in danger but it's the thought that counts, right?", Says Alice with a sweet and innocent smile. But an observant person could tell she wasn't so innocent as she was making sure to keep her hands near her grenades, and her person as far away from the lizard man as possible, just in case he wasn't the friendly type.
Kylie was out of ammo, so she was out of options. As far as self defense came Kylie only knew how to wield firearms. Kylie then grabbed her smoke case and pulled out a Neko-Kun cigarette. it had a little drawing of a cat on each cigarette."If I have to die now, I'm doing it while having a smoke goddamn it!" She bent towards the flames and used them to light her cigarette. She stood there and decided she was gonna polish off her bottle of whisky before she was killed. As she did so she had an amazing idea.
She made a l;ine of whiskey going from the flames to the opposite wall hoping to block off the stranger on the other corner. She then threw the glass bottle which was still a quarter full at the eastern wall, and she waited.
a few minutes later the wall was burning up quicker and a way threw appeared. Kylie ran down. She knew where she was heading, she knew that the train station was down that way. she managed to get half way there and then pitched a tent hidden in the bushes.
Fessard gazed, bemused at the small human. he didnt reply to her but lowered his axe when she pointed it out and squatted down near the fire again, he kept his eye on this new stranger he could tell she was dangerous despite her appearance.
"You...not...informant..."
Fessard's english was still quite bad, he had managed to get the hang of hebrew and several middle eastern languages but european dialects were difficult for him to pronounce, his accent is thick and it's hard to make out what he is saying.
"I wait for informant...مكافحة المناخية is not far but i know not which way."
"Oh. Informant, eh? If you have an informant and are willing to tell me that AC is near, even if you said its name in a language that, to me, might as well be gibberish-ness but in such a way that context clues make it clear that you understood somewhat... You must be a hunter. Well, when they get here warn them that a girl with grenades is going to have a little talk with the people of A/C, and if anyone gets in her way, they will go boom", says Alice," By the way as thanks for telling me that the AC is near and thanks in advance for carrying out that message..."
Alice moves her hands away from her grenades and attempts to give the lizard-man a friendly hug.
