I've let this go about about 100 times in the past, but is this cheating?
Notice the bid increasement is definitely not 1 gil.
Now I can tell how those lazy inactive people are able to win so many auction without an effort...

Hi, OK so I tried to bid 1 gil over the last bid and received an error message. How are they bypassing the error? Am I understanding what you are saying correctly?
If someone places a 600 bid for example, and the bid increment is 1000, someone is able to bid 601 anyway? I just tried with my test account and it errored. I want to understand what is causing the bug so I can fix it. Thanks.

I just did it myself; on my own bid to be fair.
And yes, it only works for the second bid.
So if this glitch is not fixed, I suggest to everyone that's the first bidder to bid twice and pay an extra gil so you won't be robbed.
Edit: can't do it a second time.

I was able to bid a 0 Gil increment  the current bid was 150,000 and I was able to bid 150,000 :/
