She followed him.. kind of flustered... why was he acting so strangely? as they moved... she listened to the story of Alrod... she felt bad for asking all of the sudden... she knew what it felt like to loose someone close to her... She wasn't going to let that happen to Raven.
She stared at the blade in wonder... "They're, beautiful!" she said as she awed them... then she kind of laughed at his remark "Think ill of you? In case you havn'e noticed..." she slowly draws out a silver blade the resonated with a certain blue tint and a sound of a slight ring. A sound which only expert craftmenship and a superb understanding of the blade could produce. "I have one of my own. They teach the women to fiht where I come from... whats the point of living in a city if you are nothing but a neucence when its attacked?" She smiled smugly up at him.

Again with the surprises. I knew she concealed a blade, but one of such craftmanship? Raven twirled the blades in a quick motion and rested them against his arms. "I don't doubt your fighting ability, but I want you to stay out of this. We still don't know who we're dealing with. Our return has not yet been announced, so there will be a fight with the wrong people if you were discovered. That's why we're meeting with the queen when we arrive; for a formal announcement."

Right, a precaution. I'll have to look into this more later, but right now, I've got larger things to worry about. Raven sheathes the blades on his lower back in a small leather strap and secures small throwing blades around his body. He then looked at Elowin with a concerning glance. "I want you to stay out of this Elowin. I don't want to cause unnecesary bloodshed. If they see you, they will demand both our heads, pirates or not. Please stay in the closet until I let you out." Raven walked to the door to open it and greet their uninvited guests pulling up on their starboard side.

Elowin wanted to obey... she really did... but she wasn't an obedient girl... and she maybe she was... a little overconfident... only a little!... anyway, she figured that she could stay out of sight well enough... besides, Raven was a hero... they wouldn't dare question him too much! Also, what if they were Bandits? Or Foolish explorers who wanted to make a name for themselves and he ended up needing her help? ... she decided to check it out.
Slowly she snuck out of her little 'closet' and crept up the stairs to peak out of the crack in the door at the top, looking out over the deck.

The ship began to pull up, ready to board the strange vessel. The captain wondered what sort of vessel would travel through waters flying royal colors without a single guard on deck. "Take her in slow boys, this could be a trap to catch the bounty on me head." As they neared, he caught sight of a lone elf, standing on the deck with a gaze that was trying to look through everything. He was clad in white leather and had two blades on his back, but they were too small to do anything. The captain roared with laughter. "Get ready to board boys! He ain't nothing but a loner!

The ship pulled up and Raven saw the crew, as well as the captain. There were around thirty of them, all of them brandishing sabres and a lust for blood in their eye. Worst case scenario is confirmed. Pirates. Captain Storm no less. I was hoping not to have to fight on the way home. Ah well. At least it will be a fun warm up." So. You guys think that you can take on the royal champion? This boat is under the queens personal guard. I will not let you leave here in one piece if you step foot here."
"Ha! You? The champion? You couldn't cut fruit with those things on your back! Go get him boys! No prisoners!"

The first wave of pirates swung across and reached the other side of the water onto the Royal vessel, and were quickly met by the champion. He moved with astounding speed as he lept into the air and planted both feet into the center of one pirates' chest with a defening crack as his ribs shattered from the force, followed by a splash as he hit the water. Raven used the momentum to backflip off and launch several of the throwing knives into 5 other pirates chests, forcing their retreat.
Raven smiled, "Is that all you have? I was expecting more from the great pirate lord Storm. Leave now or more of your men will be hurt."
" You snot nosed kid. Like I'll let you get away with this? Everyone, go over all at once!"
Raven smiled yet again. At least I will get a bounty for this. I wouldn't want to get out of this empty handed.
The rest of the pirates swung over. They marched quickly around Raven, surrounding him and drawing their sabres. "Get out of this one, 'champion' hahahaha."

She smiled... these pirates were a joke! however, they could be useful. She crept slowly back down the stairs and to the other side of the room. She looks out the port window, she an see a low hanging rope from the bording pirates... "Perfect" she opened the window and peaked out... they wouldn't be able to see her... the cabin would hide her until she was already on bored... she would have to find a place to hide on the pirates deck...

The pirates rushed in, swords held high. Raven moved like water through their swings, causing them to slice each other up in the frenzy. When they realized they were only hurting themselves, they backed off and went with one on one combat. Raven beat them, one after another, by merely using their own momentum to land punches. This is too easy. how are these guys feared? there has to be something I'm missing.

Elowin landed stealthly on the deck of the pirate ship and looked arround... it looked like the ship was being run on a skeleton crew. they really couldn't afford the men they were looseing by attacking raven!
she snuck to the door to get below deck... there was a single pirate guarding the door... "Heh this should be easy." But there was something different about him... she wanted to take him out quietly. She took out a knife and began to concentrate.
breathing and time was right, she threw the knife directly at his cheast! but it hit him with a loud CLANK! The man stirred ans there was the cound of clanking gears and coving parts as he seemed to wake up!

The pirates ship began to stir, with a large sound permeating from below deck. "HA! It seems that someone has stowed aboard. Now you will see why I am the most feared Pirate the seas have ever known, champion!" There was a rattling from the deck as the cargo hatches began to seperate, revealing the beastly contraption from inside.
