Aliens Vs Predator 3
i loved the first two. and im praying to god they make a 3rd. its only a rumor. but as per the poll. what engine do you think they will use?
what engine do you think AvP3 would look best in? (as the style is)
i used to think that if they made an AvP3 it would look best in the Doom3 engine. but after seeing what modders have done with HL2 i can also see it being done in that engine (but they would need to fix a few lighting issues first)

A lot of developers like the Unreal Engine, but I have seen games that use all of the engines listed on your poll. I suppose it is all a matter of preference

i dont think this poll is going to really decide anything. but im wondering which style you think they should go for?
if they can get Doom3 lighting in HL2 i will definately vote for HL2. but if they cant then definately Doom3.
frankly, i really hope that AvP tries to go for the whole "Suspence game"
Yes, the UT engine is very cool. they have done amazing things with it. i dont see it doing a suspense game as well as any of the other engines have shown though.
we'll see with UT2k7 what they do with it.

mmmh... nah i luv unreal tournament but for avp id say they shouldnt go for unreal's.
I think it should make their own but go for something similar to SWc but more detailed.
I'd love to see things like the aliens's drool stick to the privates's helmets n stuff... or small drops of drool falling in their helmets when an alien was right on top before they fall =P
ps: i loved the q3 engine.

I think that the Original AvP Gold was one of the best video games that I have ever played. It blew me right out of the water with how cool it was. I really only every played as the Marine, because I thought that character was the most fun. It was cool to see what it is like to truly be at the bottom of the food chain.

Yep, they are classics. One of the more open minded fps IMO out there where you're not just limited to aim-bang bang- add some weird puzzles - aim - bang bang

The Original AvP game is fantastic! The developers nailed the feel of the movies perfectly in it. When playing as the Marine I was litterally on pins and needles the entire time. That damn motion tracker which seams like such a cool thing in the movies really is about the most frigtening thing ever. Because it really is useless for finding an enemy, but succeds really well in letting you know that you should be really scared. In college we used to have lots of fun playing the Multiplayer game to. There is a Hadley's Hope level (The terraforming station from the second movie) which is about the most fun I have had playing a first person shooter. You can play co op with other human players against an unending swarm of respawning aliens, that goes so far toward recreating the scene from the movie where all the aliens attack the remaining marines. In a word FANTASTIC! I am actually going to get this game this year for christmas, because I miss it so much.

yes that Co-op gametype is my FAVORITE.
i was so sad that it wasent included in AvP2. i hope they put it back in for AvP3 (which they BETTER make)
OH as an added comment. i hope that they keep the Game and the movie seperate. the movie was fine, but the game is WAAAAYY better.
