Aeris

Why on the game of ff7 is Aeris called "Aeris" and on advent children she is credited as "Aerith"?

Aerith is the correct spelling of her name. Aeris was a mis-translation of the original Japanese name. It is still pronounced Aeris though, as Japanese pronounce 'th' as 's'.

I think.

As stated it doesn't really matter because the pronounciation is the same for both spellings. "Aeris" is just the more American spelling.

Well I'd say it can also be the British spelling.. "th" doesn't really end many words over here.

I will give you a pat on the back if you post a word except "Aerith", "depth", that ends in "th" :p

That would explain when I used my explorer, and you activate "revive aeris" cheat she is in your party as "Aerith".
