| But anywayz why did Aeris die? Did Sephiroth kill him just because he likes killing, or was there a purpose for her death?

I dont think this is an appropriate title as some people havnt played/completed the game yet lol.. But Oh well. I dont know why she dies yet because I havnt finished the game.

well there was a purpose but i turned the game off and cried when she died and never played the rest i was really emotional at that moment

Well Aeris is portrayed as a cute person with good heart, so it really sucks how someone like that would die.
But anywayz it's a game so I don't get emotional over it - but I do think it sucks tho lol she shouldn't die

So uhhh...........all these posts I think everybody forgot to mention......for what purpose did Aeris die?
For me, the story is pretty much ruined anywayz cuz I have the strategy guide.
Which is why I know she died before even getting there in the game - but why did she die, is it just cuz Sephiroth likes killing?

I belive that she died for several reasons....1..because liek discusing with a friend of mine about clouds emotions...he cares for everyone in his party, but never shows it, he is always scared of loosing what he cares for ( because it has already happend to him be4) the part where she dies just ties an even bigger bond between the 3 characters involved.........
1. Because Cloud cares for her but never showed it to the fullest that he could have.
2. She knew he cared, thats why she left them to try and finish it all on her own...
3. she was not scared becaus eshe knew cloud would save her if she was in trouble...
and the biggest part of it all
4... because cloud did show up to protect her, just like she knew he would, sepheroth kills her....therefor taking away something that cloud really cares about yet again ( sence sepheroth likes to destroy what cloud charishes) It makes the hate cloud has for him grow even more for destroying something important to him yet again. Giving him even more reason to destroy sepheroth and his reign of terror
People might disagree with me and my reasons but ive beat ff7 10 times, and feel like i could feel what the characters feel juding by their actions and personallities...

aeris was attemting to pray for holy to save the planet from meteor. sephiroth killed her to prevent from that happening, unforuatly no one was smart enough to piick up the white materia though but they did howver fiqure it out another way im not gonna get too deep into it

 there is probably a way to keep her alive cuz otherwise they wouldnt put her final limit/ultimate weapon near the end of the game!
but thats just a guess

no, her death is unavoidable, her ultimate weapon is found in the temple of ages , a short while be4 her death and her lvl 4 limit is also found in disk one
and i think the reason why they didnt go after the white materia is prolly because judging by the clip it fell into some really really deep water...they prolly thought it would be safer to stab the crap out of him rather than drownd trying to get the materia lmao
