Soulstice and something else (Maybe Fiesta) Both looked like they were the same game, and not only that, but they are Ragnarok Rip-Off's. >.> They may be free, but so are public free servers of Ragnarok too. XD
Besides, Ultima Online all the way when it comes to PVP and character customization. =P (Free Shards only.. Screw monthly payments!)
And BTW.. AQ.. How does it get the title "MMORPG" if it's not "MM"? Or is it that everyone is technically playing the same server, even if there is no interaction? o.0

A week to get to level 60 if you're able to log in everyday and that would also be if you have no life outside AdventureQuest.
I heard there's something called AdventureQuest Worlds which is supposed to be an MMO version of AQ. Personally, I think it sounds even worse than regular AQ.

Meh, I still stick with that it's a decent game, just for mult-tasking and not something to be focused on as your main game to play..
AQ Worlds is like AQ.. kinda. =/ There are alot less armor and class's to chose from..
In AQ, free players can get to rank 5 outa 10 of any class.. In AQ Worlds you can only be about 20% of all the class's in the game. >.>
Also, in AQ to be a guardian is a ONE TIME PAYMENT! Which is awesome.. However AQ Worlds is MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION! Big downfall. =/
And honestly AQ Worlds there are limited places to go, getting money is super easy, and there's nothing to spend it on..
The biggest flaw ever, and in my book fails as an MMORPG ever...
ALL THE WEAPONS DO THE SAME FREKIN DAMAGE!
That's right. Whether it's worth 100 gold, 12,500, or even the "Big 100K" which is, yes, worth 100,000.. It does the same damage.. You can upgrade it, but as long as they are at the same upgrade level, they do the same damage..
Now before I get flamed or flipped out on, lemme explain.. Let's say a weapon does 22-22.. And another to 20-24.. It's the same. You may do more damage, but you may also do less.. It evens out.. Even if it's 10-34.. You can find equipment off of almost every monster, which is neat, but armor doesn't do anything yet.. no defense.. at all.
Also there are some weapon elements.. I think just Metal and Fire so far.. but you don't see any difference with those either. >.>
So yeah AQ Worlds is definately in "Super-Beta" Mode, yet right now people are paying to play it. >.> THAT, is truly sad.

I started playing in 2002 when I saw an advert for it on MegaTokyo and was bored enough to click it. I stopped playing when the server was pretty much permenantly full which was roughly in 2004.
As for payments, I wouldn't spend money on a game as poor as AQ, even if it is just a one-time payment.
