Star walked in front of a small gate in front of a large house. She checked the photo in her palm and confirmed that this was the right house. She took a few steps forward, with her petite purple luggage trailing behind, and placed her hand on the gate to open it. However, she could not help but reflect on how she even got this far. The night breeze was very comforting and it only made Star want to stand outside even longer.
It almost seemed too easy that her request to live amongst the commoners, as her older sister referred, was approved without a thought. But to be honest, there was absolutely nothing happening for a long time, nothing to do but wait. What they were waiting for, they were not sure.
So there she was, waiting to depart for a planet with 'normal' people living 'normal' lives in less than 30 minutes after her strange request that even surprised herself.
"What would you do there, sis?" Her younger sister curiously asked.
"I don't know," was the answer "maybe-"
"Do you not like it here anymore?" Her younger sister looked worried.
"It's not that, but-"
"Then why are you leaving? You're the only one that plays with me; she is always too 'noble' to have fun." Star was interrupted again by her energetic little sister.
A voice then came from behind the two.
"We are not to indulge in the ludicricies of servents." Her older sister interjected. "We cannot possibly entertain ourselves in such a way."
"See?" Her younger sister turned around, "Yami-chan's too mean to be alone with."
"We would like you to stay," added her older sister, "It balances Rai-chan's childish presence."
"Hey, I'm not childish!"
"Then we agree, to be fair, that your accusation also holds no merit."
"Hmph!" Rai-chan turned away and folded her arms.
"So how are you going to live?" Yami-chan's attention was drawn back to the original subject, "We cannot let you leave without at least a plan."
Again, Star was lost and without an answer.
Yami-chan moved in front of her with a half-surprised look, "Interesting, this is the first time we've seen Hikari-chan without a logical approach to a matter."
So star finally admitted that she had no idea what she is doing and the three sisters decided to plan everything out so everyone was happy. The idea that the three would get the most advanced cellphones to keep in touch despite being millions of miles away was approved, but due to delays, they were only allowed to text message or video message each other. The main matter was to discuss where and how she was going to live. Yami-chan suggested that "Hikari-chan should first change her name into something more common," Rai-chan followed up on the idea, but her listing every noun she liked out of the top of her head were met with quick rejections. Yami-chan absolutely refused to her sister named after commoners, and that the only names really worth having, she concluded, was their own. So the three got to work on picking out Hikari-chan's full name, translated it, and finally agreed on somthing...for once.
((Rai-chan: Hey narrator! You signing your death warrant?))
Sorry. Where was I...
The final matter of discussion would be where to live. Rai-chan suggested cheerfully that Star should live nest to an amusement park. The only problem with that was that it was out of town and nowhere near the school.
"But you can get cotton candy anytime you want," Rai-chan attempted at an arguement, but was only met with a glare from Yami-chan and her responce: "We are not sending our sister off to eat cotton candy."
"What about-"
"Or Pocky, chocolate bars, bubble tea, playing video games, playing with toys, and all the other foolish things you keep mentioning."
"Aww..." Rai-chan pouted on the table, started to lose interest, and finally spent the rest of the time playin with her long, blue pigtails.
"We could have those servents on that planet build a castle for you." Yami-chan suggested, "we have the money this time, so we won't have to do it the way you don't like."
"That's alright, I'm tired of castles, palaces, lairs, and all those things you keep threatening people into building." Star said as she tried to dismiss the idea.
"They're servents, that's what they're for," Yami-chan quickly replied, "but alright, I guess since you are the one living there, we can follow your ideas."
"I've heard of..."
The idea surprised her sister more than the idea of living on the planet.
"What? You're not serious, you're going to pay those peasants to share domaines with them?"
Star only nodded. And after a moment, Yami-chan sighed and concluded, "Well, it's your right; you're the one with all the logic. Here, take the money."
I'm going to miss them, she thought as she finally opened the gates to who she thought would be her first real friend in this world.

A cold and disheartened look lay upon his face as the rain began to dampen the clothes. He stood besides the door for a while, his hands were perhaps the only part of his body that was dry. Wrapped inside his spacious pockets.
He began to lift his hands out of his pockets, his hand froze over and a smirk lit his masked face. The ice dissapeared as quickly as it came as he moved his hood further down his face and wandered off towards the approaching man.
The man wore a gentlemanly attire, a sharp and expensive suit which appeared ruined in the rain. The complexion was sullen, he tipped his hat as he approached the hooded individual and then removed it to reveal an elderly face. However, it was oddly formed, the skin was as smooth as a man in his mid 20's but the bone structure resembled that of a man in his late 60's.
"You're late." the younger of the two said as the elderly gentleman removed his headwear.
"A wizard is neither late nor early young one, he arrives precisely when he means to."
A smirk lit up the boys face "I didn't know you were to quote the Lord of the Rings."
"I'll unlock the door for you..." the elderly man shrugged off the rain as the key fell into place. The sweet sound of the unlocked door lightened both the elderly and the young man.
"Argos my boy..." said the elderly man in a slightly more cheerful mood "How goes your studies?"
The younger of the two, Argos seemed suprised at the sudden interest in his studies. "Well, master, we have yet to start the new semester and so I've had a lot of time off to practice my focus and concentration."
The master smiled as if anticipating something interesting to happen. "So, Argos, I shall hope to see those results soon enough...but first, please do sit down and warm your body." The suit then began to dry as an illumination flowed in a spiral around the man. Within less than a second the suit had gone from a dampened and miserable waste of money to a crisp and elegant one.
"Master, one should not replace magic with the conventions of normality. It gives way to greed to want more...is that not what you said?" Argos asked in a sullen attitude.
"Well...yes but, it's not exactly ideal to walk around in damp clothes." the master said nervously.
"Well, that I do understand but abuse of powers is still not a good idea..." Argos said as he shivered, a cold drop of water flowed down the back of his spine.
"Hmph...perhaps, but for a frost mage you're not well adapted to the cold are you Argos...I expected you to also work on that..."
"Well, that would be true but when I use my magic I do not feel the cold, I feel the magical essence of the cold but nothing more. To me it holds no physical bearing...but when I meet an external source I feel it far more strongly...I am however getting there master."
"That's good...now, you should be warmed up enough to show me your focus and concentration Argos..."
Argos shot up, elated by his masters words "Understood" he said in a peppy manner.
Saria was lying down on the couch when Terra walked in.
"Hiya Terra. How was work?"
"It was alright but I'm not done"
"Really? You have been gone almost 24 hours "
"And you have not moved an inch since I left, have you Saria"
"That's a lie! I got up to go to the bathroom and grab a new bag of chips from time to time."
"well it doesn't seem like you moved"
"It's the weekend, what do you expect?"
"To not get so much work."
"Speaking of your work, why are you back if you are not done?"
"I need to pick up some stuff"
"Like?"
"Doesn't matter"
Terra then went upstairs and rummaged threw some stuff. Saria decided to take a nap on the couch.Terra finally came back downstairs 30minutes later and woke Saria up.
"Get up!"
"Why?"
"You're coming this time. Here take these you will need them."
Terra then handed Saria her daggers, pistols and her smoke bombs.
"why will I need these? Normally you take me to deliver stuff."
"This time it's serious. We are to assasinate someone."
" What the hell, I thought the FBI was supposed to help people."
"This is a terrorist, and you are not supossed to know I work for the FBI so keep quiet about that."
Saria then got up and followed Terra into her car.
"Do I really need to go? I rather sleep."
"No, you have to come."
"Are you just trying to get me out of the house or something?"
"No"
"whatever then"
"You gotta be quiet when he comes into the car, okay?"
"okay"
Then Terra parked in front of a building and went in to it. When she came out, a man with a mask covering his face came out. Terra walked to the car then sat in the drivers seat, the man sat in the back.
Man:"what is she doing here?"
Terra:"She is helping us bomb the place"
Man:"So she is also part of the conspiracy?"
Terra:"Yes"
Terra then drove to a really fancy hotel.
Terra:"She will stay with me, you go inside and wait in the room 1465"
Man:"Alright"
The man walked into the hotel and took a key, then went up in the elevator.
Saria:"So what do I do now?"
Terra:"You kill him."
Saria:"May I know what he did?"
Terra:"He is starting a group that wishes to destroy every inch of this place."
Saria:"I see... So you will need me to kill more after?"
Terra:" No, he just got here and he is just starting his group. he is the only member and he thinks that you and me are also members."
Saria:"Got it"
Terra:"I will wait here, make sure you get him."
Saria then walked into the hotel and got the key for the apartment 1466.
She went to the 4th floor and sat on the balcony. She thought out her plan and decided to call Terra on the phone.
Terra:"Hello?"
Saria:"Hey, I need you to turn off the power to the fourth floor.
Terra:" Alright."
Ten minutes later all the lights went off. Saria then went onto the balcony and climbed over to the next one down. She slowly walked in and noticed he was reading a book with a flashlight. Saria slowly walk towards the kitchen, where he was sitting.
Saria:" So, you ready?"
Man:" Yeah, but... why is the power out."
Saria:"Because there may be cameras or something and they wont work if the power is off."
Man:" Okay, well the first place we are bombing is this building and then we will hit the highways and every single way out of this place."
Saria:"Okay, but how are we gonna do that at 3 members?"
Man:" I managed to recruit more people. They will help"
Saria:"Okay."

Saria then took a step to the side and the man lost her.Saria then pulled out her daggers and sliced the mans throat. she waited till he was dead and then used featherlight to heal the wound. afterward she grabbed a mop and mopped up any evidence of them being here, she swept and she dusted,etc. she then had the Man in a plastic garbage bag she jumped down the balconies one by one, going downwards and then she walked towards Terra.
Saria:" Where are you gonna put him?"
Terra:" I'm gonna burn him"
Saria:" Okay. Oh! and before forget, he has recruited more members, he did not say how many but he planned to blow every exit and entrance this place has.
Terra:" Thanks for letting me know."
Saria threw the bag in the back seat and and sat in the passenger seat.
Terra:"I'm sorry for making you do this."
Saria:" I just want chips and sleep now "
Terra:" well I am obviously gonna pay you for this mission, well my boss is anyways."
Saria:" Okay"
Saria then got out of the car and walked a few blocks and arrived at the house. She walked in and grabbed the phone to call her friend. There was no answer. Saria then decided to take a shower and then she slept. She woke up the next afternoon and had eggs for breakfast she then sat on the couch and watched tv. The phone rang.
Saria:" Hello?"
Josh:"Hey, Saria, it's Josh. You called last night?"
Saria:" Yeah, I was just wondering when the next band meeting is."
Josh:"Isn't it on your calender?"
Saria:"The phone was closer"
Josh:" Well did you already check?"
Saria:" No I forgot to after you didn't answer."
Josh:" well it's friday"
Saria:"Thanks Josh!"
Saria then hung up and kept watching tv.

Jarloth walked into the orphanage and went up to his room, He put his school stuff on the bed and then turned around and left the room and headed for the kitchen. He smiled as he saw his favorite carer cooking their lunches and baking some cookies as treats for when the other kids got home.
"Hi Ben" Jarloth said to the carer Ben real name is Benjamin but when he was looking after the children he allowed them to call him Ben "You know that I'm a little too old for cookies." He added with with a small laugh.
Ben turned around and smiled "Yes I know but that still doesn't stop you from having one." He started to laugh.
"That is just because I have to test so they are suitable for the others." Jarloth replied with an pretend shocked expression.
"My cooking is not that bad." Ben turned away to on the lunch with a wide grin on his face.
"I know but you know what the othes are lie you can't please them" Jarloth said and moved over and sat at the kitchen table, "Do you need any help?" He asked
"Don't you have homework to do and then you have chores plus Kim will be back soon and it'sher turn to help in the kitchen." Ben said his voice full of authority which he didn't use very often.
"Okay I will start on my chores and then take a break before doing my homework after lunch." Jarloth said and then stood up and headed for the door.
"Okay I will shout you when it is time for lunch" Ben shouted after him.
Jarloth headed for his room and collected all of the clothes that needed washing as well as the sheets, He sdone the same for every bedroom that a male sleeps in and took them down to the laundry room and started to load the into the washers and set running. He went to the dryers and took out the clean sheets and went back to the rooms and made everyones bed. After he finished went out to the back of the orphanage and sat down on one of he swings and closed his eyes.
"I knew I will find you out here, you always are when you have nothing else to do don't you Jar-Jar" A voice said adding a laugh at the end.
"I thought I told you not to call me that Kim unless you want me to do the same thing to you as I did last time." Jarloth said to the speaker a wide smile on his face.
"Well I guess I deserved that didn't I" Kim said to him and took the empty swing next to him.
Jarloth opened his eyes and looked at Kim and nodded. "Just a bit but ou got you're revenge now that was complete unfair" He frowned as he remember what happened.
Kim stated to laugh her blue eyes lit up. "Well lucky that we stopped before it got too out of hand." She said.
"So since you are out here that means that lunch is nearly done." Jarloth smiled.
"Yes he sent me to get you." Kim stood up and dragged him off the swing "Have you tried the cookies yet?" She asked.
"You are getting stronger" Jarloth said to her, "And no I think that everyone can survive one time without me tasting the cookies." he smiled and looked towards the orphanage, "Want a race?" He asked her and smiled crookedly.
Kim nodded and set off with Jarloth right behind he but he overtook her and crossed the finish line and waited for her. they both set off for the kitchen laughing as they did so but they sas they took their places at the table with the other children. Everyone ate all off their lunch and kept the table conversation free of school work and chores. After they finished jarloth headed off to and started on his homework.

Justine rolled over in her bed, glaring at the clock next to her her at it emitted an annoying beeping noise. "Uhhhh..." she growled. Her hand lazy smacked the alarm before she sat up, staring blankly in front of her for a moment.
She always did hate school.
When she was still a student, the red-head always thought she was going to grow up and be like her father. She was sure, as the best shot in the family, that she was going to take over the family "business". But this was before her father told her that she would do no such thing. So, with nothing left to do, Justine took up the job as a school councilor. It was dull compared to being an assassin, but rewarding none the less.
There was music coming from the woman's right, next to her alarm clock. "Who the heck is calling me at 5am?"
Justine picked up her phone and stared at the name before answering.
"Hello? Dad? Why the heck are you calling this early?"
"Oh," a deep voice came from the other side, "just wanted to make sure you got up in time. Don't want to be late."
"Riiight..." she rolled her eyes, actually getting out of her bed and heading towards her dressers. "Don't worry dad, I can take care of myself."
"I know bu-"
"Dad, I'm fine. I have to get ready now, so I gotta go."
"Alright," the man replied, "have a good day."
"Yeah, I'll try."
Justine didn't even wait for a reply before she hit the End button. A few cuss words rolled through her mind as she put on a pair of clean white dress pants and a button-up light green shirt. Justine tried to adjust to the clothing, but it was just so... stiff. She hated dressing up, but her father told her that, at least for work, she couldn't wear jeans.
After some make-up and a few accessories, Justine declared herself ready for the day.

Lilith lay sprawled across her bed in an unusual and rather exposed position before realising that she needed to get up for school. She slid sideways out of bed and made a run for the bathroom next door. After returning she dressed herself still half asleep in her uniform white shirt and black skirt, she somehow managed to get everything on the right way around and in the right order and made her way out to the kitchen for some breakfast. Lilth lived in a student apartment with her roomate Mel, Lilith got on well with Mel considering that generally she wasn't fond of girls as people normally. Her roomate appeared from a door across the way in her pyjamas and joined her at the table.
"Morning Lil, how you feeling after last night?"
"Okay I guess, last night was quite light for me."
"If you say so, I'm not gonna go into the wisdom of drinking the night before the first day of school, just don't throw up on me on the bus there."
"I didn't drink that much Mel you have nothing to worry about and neither do I."
Lilith finished her breakfast and made her way to bathroom again to do her makeup...

Takir enjoyed the feeling of the cool breeze blowing against his face and through his long red hair. He gazed up at the dark emptiness, mesmerized by it.
"Hey, what are you doing out here?" He heard the light voice from behind him beckon. Takir turned around to see the beautiful face of his roommate; Her long brunette hair touched by the invisible force flowing through the night air. Her face seemed paler than usual. Takir took note of this, but said nothing of it.
"I'm merely enjoying myself. What are you doing up this late?"
"I-"
"You were unable to return to sleep. It's written all over your face."
The woman turned around and folded her arms, refusing to admit that he was correct. Takir could tell that she felt embarrassed.
"Look, Tina, I-"
"Just leave me alone Takir..."
Tina walked back into the apartment and closed the door behind her with a nice amount of force.
"Tch, fine. I'd rather be alone out here anyways."
Takir turned and gazed yet again at the empty night sky. He sighed as he spoke to himself. "I hope this doesn't escalate, I'd hate to have to argue with my roommate all year... Not to mention having to argue with her..." *Sigh* "I hope this doesn't become a distraction." Takir turned and began to walk away.

Argos followed his master on to a large dojo styled area, there were vertical fountains spread out along the walls. They were encased in half cutaway pipes, connecting them was the very thing that encased them. A horizontal bar stretched from the pipes in various places. A ragin flame encased the room, the Ice shone like diamonds against the enchanting flame. "You have been practicing I see Argos." said the elderly gentleman, pleased with the results...
Star walked up to the door of the large house and rung the doorbell.
She then read over the letter.
Her name is...Miss Marisk.
Star sighed hoping that this was not too inconvenient time of the day to ring someone's doorbell. She stood there with her luggage and backpack and waited.

Jarloth sat at his table doing his homework when there was a knock at the door, He looked up from his work and turned to face the door.
"Who is it?" He said loudly so te person at the door could hear.
Kim opened the door slightly and popped her head in, "It's me" She said to him "We need your help with a couple of things." She added answering the question she knew he was going to ask next.
Jarloth stood up and opened the door and walked out into the passageway. "Where am I needed?" He asked her.
Kim smiled and started to walk away. "You are needed out back." She replied and heade out the back to wait for him.

Lilith made her way to the bar away from the man that had been stalking her across the pub for the last hour or so, she ordered herself a whisky and coke and attempted to collect herself before he inevitably found her and attempted once more convince her it was a good idea to go to his place.

"Earlier this morning a bar in town was found on fire, several people were caught inside the building and couldn't be saved before the fire brigade got there, casualties currently stand at 5 dead and 12 with severe burns, none of the witnesses know how the fire started and police forensics can't identify where the fire started...
"Hey Lil, isn't that the bar you were at last night?"
"Yeah...must have left before that happened though."
"You don't sound sure."
"If I'm honest I can't remember coming home but I think I'd know if I got caught in a bar fire okay."
"...whatever, you need to be more careful."

Justine turned her head towards the door, already ready to go to bed. Her automatic confused expression changed quickly as she rushed to the door
Shoot, I forgot about the stay-in kid.
The woman quickly turned the doorknob, looking down at the small girl in her doorway and smiling kindly. "Hi! You must be the stay-in. I'm Justine Marisk. You can call me Ms. Marisk or Ms. Mar."
Justine extended her slender, pale hand out towards the girl, offering the child to shake it.

Star looked at the lady's extended hand for a second slightly confused in waht she was supposed to do with it. She then quickly decided it was best to simply address what she could understand.
With her hands still together in front of her, she quickly said, trying to minimize any hesitation:
"Hello Miss Marisk, my name is Star Hikari. It is nice to meet you; please take good care of me while I am at your presence."
Star then bowed and stayed in that position for approximately 5 seconds before looking up. She blushed a little as she was still a bit embarrased about not knowing what to do with the lady's extended hand.

With that thought, Star drew out an evelope with a $250,000 check and placed it in the extended, open hand. Deep down inside, she breathed a sigh of relief. She could still remember her older sister sighing and doing a little facepalm after Star bumped into a careless servent and, although it was clearly his fault, she was the first to apologize.
