Jarloth walked out the back door and had a look around for Kim but she was nowhere to be seen. "Okay Kim what do you need me for?" He shouted.
Kim started to lau but covered the noise by putting he hand over her mouth. "We need you by the slide." She shouted back after she stopped laughing.
Jarloth walked over to the slide and checked behind it but no one was there he checked the slide to see if anything was wrong but he didn't see anything so he headed for the swing.
Kim looked aound her and nodded. "NOW" She shouted and she plus the other kids from the orpanage came out of their hiding places holding water baloons and then they starte a figt between themselves but mostly aimed at Jarloth.
Jarloth started to dodge he baloons but son e was hit by two baloons one flung by Kim and one by Anthony, Jarloth picked up a baloon that didn't burst and flung it at Kim hiting her square in the back.
Ben called the fight to a halt after a while but it seemed that he somehow got soaked even though he wasn't in the fight. Everyoneone went totheir rooms and swiched intotheir pajamas and took the wat cloths and put them in the drier ready for the morning.Jarloth headed for his room and finished his work and put his stuff away.
Jarloth finished his entry in the journal and put it away in the drawer before taking out his reding book and went over to his bed, he looked outside the window and it was night time 'Time sems to fly when you are having fun' He thougt before starting to read his book.

Star assumed that nothing had gone wrong...yet...and quickly troddled along inside. She found a small empty room (save a bed and a desk) and placed her luggage inside before resuming to be back at Miss Marisk's side.
So this is what a 'house' looks like. I hope I payed enough for my stay, she thought as she followed along observing what were strange items to her. Such "strange" items included a regular chair at the dining table, a stove, and a lamp.

The walk back was a slow and sullen one, the rain beated down quickly against Argos' face. He arrived in his dorm and removed his outer clothing. He fell to the bed his clothes still damp from the rain. The door opened to the sound of a somewhat cheerful voice "Hey Argie, you'll catch your death in those wet clothes."
Argos looked up to see a somewhat casually dressed man, he had a half done tie around his neck. His jeans were baggy and appeared immensely waterclogged. His shirt was a simple plain white T with the words "Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth."
"Yeah, well..."
The man sat down at the desk on the opposite end of the room, he looked at Argos quizically. "What's got you so bummed?"
While the girl was looking for her room, Justine too the initiative to look inside of the envelope. She instantly spotted that it was money. When Hikari originally asked to stay at the house, how much was to be paid was never specified. The red-head was hoping that, upon the girl's arrival, the girl would look around the house and then put up an offer.
But money right out was nice too.
The woman counted the money, her eyes widening. "250 grand?!" she whispered, counting the money once again.
I could pay off the house with this much...
The house was a very big, and very nice house, her father had fronted her the money for most of it, but he expected justine to pay him back for most of it. that way, she didn't have to worry about interest rates. But two-hundred and fifty thousand? She still owed her father about two-hundred thousand, so then this put her at a 50 grand gain. But... justine was thinking more in the 5 thousand for the rest of the school year range. it was pretty high for a live-in, but the house was nice. 250 thousand... that was 50 times as much as she would take...
Justine heard the girl's footsteps coming back to her. Quickly, the bills were shoved back inside the envelope and the woman put on a calm face. There was no way she was gonna give up all that money to be nice. "So, what do you think of the place?"

"It is very pleasant and peaceful," Star responded honestly, but the one thing she did not comment on was how unusually bright a 'house' was relative to where she was used to living. Despite her eyes dialating everytime she glanced at a light, Star tried her best not to squint her eyes.
"I will enjoy my stay here" she finished.

Justine smiled and put the envelope in her pocket. "That's good then. So then, just a few rules. As a student, i want you back in the house at 10pm on school nights. I don't want to be responsible for you staying up late. Also, you clean your own dishes. I'll buy the food and make the meals, but you have to clean up. You're also in charge of doing your own laundry and keeping your own room clean. i worry about the rest of the house. And, if you need help with anything, just ask. Any questions yet?"

The young girl did recall observing people 'clean up' many things before despite having her sisters telling her that she'll probably never have to do any of that. What a relief she at least half understood the mechanics of restoring dishes and clothes to their original states, free of andy unwanted material usually reffered to as "dirt".

Argos stood up and faced the other young male "So, where were you tonight?" Argos asked almost too calmy before sitting down in the wooden chair besides his bed. His red horned masked lay underneath, he bent down and picked it up. As he was placing the strap around his hand the man turned and asked "What is it with you and that thing!?"
Argos merely smiled, though it was impossible to see through the mask. "I...don't know, it's just...comfortable..."
"Yeah...whatever. You heading out?"
"'Spose so...why?"
The man flicked a coin towards Argos who caught it by simply allowing it to land in the palm of his hand. "Get us sommat to drink mate would ya?"
Justine laughed a little at the girl's politeness. "You can just call me Ms. Mar," she said, "most of the kids at school do. By the way, I'm the guidance councilor at the school. So if you ever need anything, just come and see me."

"Alright, thank you, Miss Marisk," Star responded even though she was still trying to understand what needed guiding at the school. Perhaps it was very large and she was to guide people to their classrooms?
"May I be excused to my room now, Miss Marisk?" Star asked with most of her attention still being drawn to what a guidance councilor is.
Wait, waht did I just call her? Star realized as her attention popped back to reality.

"Oh, yes please, thank you," Star replied. Despite not being really hungry, she was curious of what kind of food people ate here. Star then retired to her room to get a few things set up while Miss Marisk was making something to eat. The first was to quickly check her 'cellphone' and probably text her sisters back saying that she had successfully settled into the house without any major problems.
As her thumb started to press on the keys, she noticed that her 'inbox' had some messages in them. Twenty-three messages, but more specifically, twenty-two from Rai-chan, her younger sister, asking arbitrary questions from how the taste of cotton candy differ from here to home, to why a can of corned beef is shaped the way it is. The last message was from Yami-chan, her older sister, stating that she has taken away Rai-chan's cellphone for the rest of the day to give Star some piece and quiet. Star's reaction to these events was more of a relief as she felt more comfortable knowing that things at home we're not any different with her gone.
The second thing was to unpack some of her belongings in the luggage. Those belongings included a notebook laptop, a music player, some extra sets of clothing, another envelope of cash, and surprisingly a strange box that was packed so tight it looked like it was about to explode; a strange box she didn't remember packing.
So out of curiosity, star turned her attention to the box, and upon opening the package, Star could only close her eyes sigh. She knew her sisters wanted to wish her well, but wasn't this a little overdone? The box contained rows and rows of cartridges that were approximately one and a half inches long and about half an inch in diameter. They were red and silver on the outside, except for the few that Rai-chan decided to paint when she was bored. Star shook her head in question of why she would need these when living a 'normal' life. These bullet-shaped metallic capsuls were to supercharge magic; magic that she didn't even need to use.
Star decided to put the box back quickly, but since the box was so tightly packed before, a few cartridges fell out when she tried to close the box and made a little noise when they hit the floor. Star decided she might as well load them into Luciferion, who was currently in standby mode as a dark blue pearl hung around her neck. It quickly transformed into a staff that had space to store twelve cartridges. Despite trying to be quiet, Star could not cover up a little noice similar to that of a reloading handgun Luciferion made when storing the cartridges.

The woman went into the kitchen, pulling out the envelope and staring at the money again. "250 thousand..." she laughed a little, not sure what exactly was up with her stay-in. "This is gonna be a fun year," she jested, walking to the safe that was hidden in the wall of the kitchen. Justine's long, slender fingers punched in the code for the safe and opened the door, placing the envelope inside next to some other valuables among these was a key to a special room in the house; the gun room. Justine closed the safe door, concealing the safe once more before walking over to the refrigerator, "Maybe I should have told her to stay out of the gun room," the woman said, pausing for a moment after the worlds left her lips, "Nah, she doesn't seem like the curious type. I'll tell her when i call her down. Dinner is the first priority."
The red-head smiled to herself, taking some ingredients out of the fridge and placing them on the counter top. "Chicken Alfredo sounds good for tonight. I should probably make her something nice since she's paying so much."

Star could even remember, before coming here, Luciferion recommending a list of "school supplies" to purchase. And no matter how she felt about letting it stay in its staff form and interacting like another person, she had no choice but to put any form of magic aside as long as she was living around here. Having a talking staff, her older sister would tell her, would simply make the "servents" here lose their minds.
Star finally had Luciferion back into a pearl hung around her neck and awaited 'Miss Marisk's' dinner.
