Accidental Promotions
just saying... it only happened to me once in all the time i was here about 4 months ago well the thing is.
I accidently promoted my char. wich is the worst action i think i could have taken, knights and paladins, well i was gonna train has a knight first then try master paladin, since theres a lot of equip for knights but theres little for paladins =((( so yes im in some kind of pinch
well what i wanted to say is 2 things (i also changed class once long ago by accident, didnt hurt much lucky me, but it could have)
can you have like a failsafe so that doesnt happens? i mean like asking for a password when you are going to promote or change class or a "write the numbers in this box" thingy. To prevent that from happening again.
more than a suggestion i thought this was a must if its not too much trouble..

Well, it´s not really that a problem if you promote at level 10, but if you try later it really is a bad thing.
And yes, Paladin equipment is really few, it was my previous class and I had some harsh times before level 25...

It can be a problem, but I think a password would be a bit too much. Maybe have a second screen asking for final confirmation of promotion?

Naw, the idea is to prevent lag or fast clicking from promoting etc. Thats why either a password or a page that generates random numbers and asks them is best. If not itd only lower the chances not completly prevent it.
why not the same password has the log in password?

I'm saying its easier for them to put in a second screen, I think, rather than to make a password system. If you had a password system for promotions, people would probably start clamouring for a similar system for rares etc, and the effects would carry a long way.

klyern, you better be careful. and cable is a mod, not an admin. he just deals with people and moves threads. he can't change the programming on the site.
and he's right. look how long it's taking for the new classes. it would take even longer to do that one page probobly, so don't blame cable for telling you the truth. you're just mad about what happened and don't want it to happen again. that's what is called greed and laziness. maybe if you and the rest of this world were'nt so ignorant and always in a hurry, you might actually notice things.
just deal with it. the best they could do right now would be, as cable said, another confirmation screen. outside of that isn't going to happen. now stop thinking soley about yourself and think of others. and please give Cable and the other mods and admins the respect that they deserve. they do so much for this site but you just don't notice. I'm sorry I had to tell you off, but it's true

wth you writting about EP? that happened 4 months ago. u just bashing at something you think looks like someone writting angrily, watch closely before writting people off about how to act man. 
i knew he had mod powers but when he started talking about it it made me thing he became an admin.
im really not mad but im starting to be, this isnt the first time im taken wrongly this week, i really mean it im not writting angrily damm it, why wont you people try to read more throughtly and think about it.
i WAS sarcastic in the last post i wont deny it, he could had said so in the beggining. his attitude did make me think he was being lazy, its not my fault cable didnt come trought with words and took more than one post to say that was hard, how should i know.
EDIT: well now that i saw this for a second time, i cant say i blame you EP, from a third party perspective its easy not to see where i was comming from. never mind, in the end i can see how it would look to other people like i was angry...
EDIT2: im loosing it, i read it a third time and there was nothing wrong with it, you can clearly understand my pattern of thought. if anyone doesnt care i dont care either. but i didnt do anything inapropiate even thought people might be upset, i clearly asked whats wrong with it, and cable started gushing out about other people requesting hilarious stuff, then i said thats his imagination flying and you (EP) came in telling me to watch it nicely, im really loosing it like george from seinfield, stop telling me to shut up already and read my posts carrefully lol.
