i had real vanilla ice cream before. someone told me it was different than what people try to pass off as vanilla and i thought they were just being weird.

no. i guess the stuff that ice cream manufactures use is a watered down essence of vanilla to save one money. She just brought me to an ice cream place that used regular extract. I was surprised by how different it was. and i finally understood why people used to put vanilla ice cream on their apple pies. It was like.... vanilla soy milk.... but in an ice cream...
