Eye for Eye increases Counter-attack chances. I have Auto-Life with Steiner, Vivi and Eiko...
Cover protects an ally from being attacked by physical moves, so when they attack Vivi, (example) Zidane (example) will take the damage and then counterattack. Itīs useful.

Yeah cover and counter attack go well together, like in FF7.
Odin's sword is a good ability to have with Garnet.

Itīs an ability. It makes Odin hit with damage, instead of IKing, but I never tried it out.
I think the AutoHaste ability is pretty useful, and AutoRegen is too. The Level+ and Ability+ also help ^^

keep casting at yourself, and it will damage the opponent, but u would only use up half the mp

I said Auto-Reflect... It would reflect the spells and heal the enemy, unless you use the ability that ignores reflect, that could be useful.
