Well I am sure the PC will be more cheater safe since they can easily update the game. My personal preference is always PC since other 3rd party developers can add on cool things that gamers want. Sega would probably release something and never add anything else to it for the console, however on PC some cool guys can add some things that we really want to make the game's replay value extend for years.
Then again, I sometimes want to play games on a console just so I can get off of my computer since I am always working on it. So it is really a matter of personal preference.

oooh lol I would never know, I don't play games on my computer except for like chess and hearts against my friends. I've also never played online games on a console so I'll never know about that either. But wouldn't it still be the same for the console and the PC? If you were to play on the console would you still be able to play with the people who are on PC?

I wouldnt know that until the game is released, but I do know in the past Sega servers for consoles allowed players to play with those with PC. It is up to Sega, because this option was disabled due to console cheaters messing up the pc game.

going back to the update thing about the games for consoles, sorry to interupt, I do believe they will download new content onto the hdd or force consol gamers to buy expansion packs like FFXI
