A random Idea for the RPG EBAY...
I was wondering if it was possible for there to be an option (eg a check box) to put cash aside when bidding on auctions so that if that bid was successful, the auction is instantly paid for. Meaning fewer unpaid bids. I do think though that only the bidder should know if this feature is being used though and can be turned on/off until a new bid is placed or the auction has ended.

It would, but would also limit interaction with the game, and by extension, the website....
Would be good, considering I have had to close two auctions cos they weren't paid *cough*you know who!*cough*
But then again, theres been times when I've put in a bid too high.....

Yeah plus would be difficult. The old system has tons of files of badly written code so it is a treasure hunt trying to find the correct variables and functions to edit. I wish I could recreate everything from scratch then adding features would be a breeze as I like to keep things relevant.
