A mixture of beliefs and possibilities
Alright well I will give a little background to why I am posting this.
For a while I have been feeling faded, evaporated and confused. It has been like that for a while but its been starting to get worse. I ended up on LJ's blog and I read quite a few posts (how is the thing with tv liscensing going lj?) fell upon the word otherkin. LJ said to search it up in his post if you didn't know about it and I did. I fell upon a site that one possibility was loosing your soul and another entity entering. This made me think that what if you got to loosing your soul and another entity entered but your soul never actually left... what if it is possible that you have 2 souls in one corpse? And I decided that this is the easiest way to explain why I feel this way. Obviously this could just be me fooling myself into believing it but... if it is... why am I fooling myself like that? That just helps my argument that there could be 2 souls within my corpse, it might not even be my corpse it could be the other soul's corpse... For now let's call it my corpse... I've always felt there was more then one thing inside my head, and I've spoken to it, I've asked it for advice and I confided in it... I also have at tendency to think thoughts in a stream and having another set of thoughts follow it but be completetly different. and I have been able to stop the thinking of the cover thoughts but I was never able to stop the stream of thoughts. take the stream of thoughts and imagine thats a lake. Now take the cover thoughts and imagine thats the wind and air above the lake. I have always had the stream running and I believe somepeople can hear thoughts so I sometimes try to stop thinking about something and think about something else but the second I try to think about ends up being though threw the wind and air and not the stream so the stream still goes and if I try again, the wind/air thoughts change but not the stream... So I believe that to be a possibility as to why I feel mixed up and lost... Maybe the Insanity within me is finally getting to me... If that is the case, I just want you all to know The reaper shall get me before the Asylum does...

Slayk...you're not speaking insanity or nonsense...there are other beings out there than can inhabit someone's body. What you've probably got is a soul parasite a spirit that latches on and slowly starts sucking the life force from its host. These can manifest in many ways...abuse is the most common one but sometimes they can manifest and be mistaken for depression.
Though you might just be depressed and retreating into your own mind for comfort...in that case I'd seek a therapist or something fluffy.

For any belief, one has to accept the axioms that give them their jump in the correct direction. For example, if you don't accept Newton's law of gravity, you might as well not bother learning most of classical physics. If you do not accept the notion that the bible is literally true by God's word, then you're going to find it hard to believe in a flat earth and absolute creationism.
In your case, you're generally generating axioms taht do not follow the social norms of "one soul one body" or "no souls at all". This belief goes directly against your wanting to fir in and be normal. That is why you suggest taht you are "insane" and thus "different" from a "sane" or "normal" person.
However, this does not always mean that one can go around ignoring society and coming up with one's own rules to life. In order to live amongst society, you need to at elast accpet the minimal standards.
Back to the main point, a belief will seem very convncing in the later explanations. For your case, you seem to be logically working out a way to have your experiences fit your belief, taht's fine, but try and think about exactly how your belief started. This method allows you to understand better about your belief as well as yourself.
I know that I have had very frustrating conversations with some people here taht only speak about how their beliefs work and not recognize how their belifs started. You can clearly read in some other topics here in "Serious Discussion" that this is quite common to start fights. For example, in one discussion, Tsuki recommended taht I "watch more documenteries" so I could gain more views on different theories in the world. It helps me think with different perspectives and an 'all around view' on things.
That's fine. However, I noticed an assumption that just because a film is a documentery, it seems to have more "truth" to it than say...a textbook. This is actually not the case. For one things, textbooks are constantly updated with new sources of information. For example, older videos on Nuclear physics in the 1990s claim that the most stable element is iron. However, it is clear today taht the most stable element is Nickle. In books, this can be easily changed and new copies can be made every year. In videos, information is restricted to oen time frame.
Also, doumenteries tend to be more biased than textbooks and often just plain wrong as the director illustrats his own ignorance mroe than anything. I've seen a "documentery" on why the 9/11 bombings were "set up" by the "government". Now, someone who does not recognize the laws of physics may be lead to believe what they say is true, but a closer look reveals how tehy ahve twisted facts so that they would easily convince the everyday unkowledgeable individual.
My sources are: Textbooks, videos/documenteries (I never implies that you should not watch these, jsut don't use them as your only source), teachers that teach the IB curriculum (internationally approved standard), a theorie of knowledge class that teaches me to question what I know, and of course I actually do real life experiments (I mean real things that I make up and analyse, not things given to you by the teachers with a few questions). Although I am not claiming to be perfect, I try my best to understand and critisize wwhat I know and how I know it.
Again, look at exactly how you come to believe something. Don't give the excuse that "it just feels right", because a lot of things "feel right", but that does not make them right. If you understand why exactly you believe something, and maybe why someone else believes in something different, then the whole notion that you are "insane" goes completely out the window.
Now please explain, how did you come to beleive in "two souls".
