A message to people who play runescape or are going to
I bet every single person here has head of runescape, and maybe more than half have played it. I used to think it was a great game, but then i started to realise...its not that great. I don't know about you guys, but it TOOK OVER my life. If i wasn't allowed to play it, i would freak, as if it was the end of the world. Fortunately, my friend snapped it out of me, but it was hard, what i'm trying to say is...NEVER PLAY RUNESCAPE, or if you have, QUIT.

You should have posted this in the "Other Games & Systems" forum.
I doubt all of us have heard about Runescape but some of us have played it. Most gave up instantly ad some played it only because their computers aren't good enough for anything else. Pretty much everyone who played it have already given up with it anyway.

lol, i had the same problem with WoW. after 2 years of playing i finally got extremely bored with it. and ya don't wanna start a new class because it took ya two years to get where ya are, and i sure don't wanna start all over again. as for no one playing runescape, i know several of my buddy's kids who play it non stop. but what really made me quit was the southpark episode on world of warcraft. talk about a revelation.......

Runescape is trash, i played it for a little bit.. and then realized that not only are there better MMORPG's out there.... there are better FREE mmorpgs out there.

As crap as it is I do have to admit that it is very addictive crap. Anyway, you don't have to pay but you can pay to be a Member which allows you to learn more skills and explore over twice the amount of land which you could as a free play account and you can get a load of better items and more quests and mini-games...basically put, if you pay monthly to be a member you can become better than most free play ones and have more fun.

and some free online mmorpgs like priston tale, kal online, silk road just to name a few... lol

One thing to Runescape's credit is that it's 3D and you don't have to download it. I hate downloaded ones. Mainly because I've never got them to work for me...

it would honestly be better as a 2d game... the 3d is ugly as hell, and being 2d would not hamper any of the gameplay. it would even allow for them to get some good looking sprites into the game.
if your 3d looks like crap, go 2d, 2d is still a good choice.
