we should do a comic by funenderites about anything, or by us and about us if you know what i mean.
the idea would be you make a list of people interested (regardless of art talent). team them up in pairs. this can be done randomly or people you get along with or whatever.
then those pairs work together to make one page of a comic. one person (presumably the one with the most artistic talent) does the art and the other person does the writing. this can be collaborative or one person can draw first and pass it on and the other person does the dialog (or the other way around) and this can lead to so weird weird strips.
then the next pair gets that section and goes forward with the next page trying to continue the story until.
this can go on forever.
Art really isnt even an issue since ive seen it down with paint and terrible photoshop jobs and its still comes out good because its a collaborative effort. stick figures and all.

we need at least 5 pairs so 10 people... But really there is no limit. Id like to keep it to people that we know will stick around the site but im totally cool with someone popping in that only has like 50 posts and they wanna be a part of something. thats cool and i personally wont turn you down.
if you are interested please just post in here along with your intent, if you want to write or do art or be involved in both this way i can match people up easier. also, if you already know someone youd like to work with, say that in your post and save me some trouble. The more people the better. and really, art isnt an issue. the only thing is, dont plagiarize of course because... thats just not cool and this is about doing something unique.
as for story... it doesnt even need to be discussed. it can be a flowing thing once/if things get rolling. we can talk about maybe a main theme or something but I'd like to keep it pretty opn so that the writers in the groups can really get creative and wild.
groups of more than 2 people are cool, just figure out what you are gonna do and we go from there.
If anyone is willing to be in more than one group in case we don't end up with an even amount of people, we can work something out.
if it doesnt come through... its cool, i just think it would be a great way to really bring the community together.
p.s. Fun you should get in on this and do a comic page with your mom. talk about EPIC!

So how/who/owh does this start though? Is the story just each page kinda takes from the last but goes in whatever direction it wants? How many panels per page (size= 8 by 11?)? Comic style or just a straight single panel?

yeah,i would say each pages just picks up were the last left off and can bring it in whatever direction they like. and the panels per page would be up to the group. you could do one big panel or a ton of varrying sizes. id say we should pick like a size for it thought. not like a full paper (8.5 x 11) but get some dementions down so the comic is uniform in size and all.
