I hated FFII with a passion...you would be walking around and fight a guy and win, then a guy would appear and kill you in one hit...it had a crappy leveling system, also...in order to gain HP, you had to get hit by monsters...same with defense...FFI was my favorite.

I like II... And by the way, with the HP thing, if you attack yourself, you still get HP. That way you can be way at the beginning and have well over 1000 HP...

Yeah, but because there was no set level system, monsters of all strengths and sizes would appear, so you would never know if you could defeat this monster or it would kill you in one hit.

FFI had a better combat and growth system, but FFII had a WAY better storyline, with much better character development. In fact, FFII was quite incredible if you think about it...too bad the combat system got in the way of it really being one of the best.

I liked them both, but the classic style of FFI is always a plus.

Forget what I said...now FFII has risen to my FAVORITE GAME EVER. It's just really really fun and challenging with a great story. The only thing it lacks is character development, and it doesn't even need that.

Well, it was the first one, at least there are conversations now lmao...

Still, I can´t tell what one among those two is better, since I haven´t started FFII yet, which I´ll do soon, as I´ve defeated Chaos on FFI Very Happy

lmao, yes that's right.
Because of FFI there were other Final Fantasies, that gives it 1 point.
Start playing FFII and see for yourself, they are almost the same... I haven't played them both in a while.
Good for you Smile
