2010 FIFA World Cup
2010 FIFA World Cup officially starts today, Friday!
Today's matches:
South Africa - Mexico
Uruguay - France
I am having the World Cup fever just like most fans out there. 
Will you be watching? Who are you cheering for?
I am cheering for Italy, obviously. I’m not expecting much of them this year. I just hope they leave with some dignity. Their match against Mexico last week was a disaster.
Anyways, what about you?

I am expecting a lot from England, even more than Spain. The last match I watched for Spain wasn’t very promising.
Portugal is good, but I really can’t stand Cristiano Ronaldo, so I don’t really want them to do much.

At least better than Italy... all the good players got too old for football. Some like Alex (  ) and Tottie didn’t come, but many others will play. In the match with Mexico, it was only 34 minutes of the game and they were very tired. The only two players I am sure that won't disappoint me are Buffon and Chiellini. I won't even comment on how bad Cannavaro has become.
Most players are from Juventus and it has had its worst season ever this year!

Argh, too busy to watch World Cup. Can't believe this crap, cause I'm not aware of the starting of the world cup.
But, Ima cheering for Spain (Primary)  and one Asian country (maybe Japan). Actually I don't mind whichever country wins, as long their football is entertaining and showed true quality. Beautiful football, if you guys know what I mean. Brazil, Spain, and trust me even underdogs like Croatia, Russia..etc - these teams can sometimes show some nice play.
Sigh, I've been supporting Spain since 1998 - I hope their world cup 'curse' begone in this world cup. They've been playing good football and always flopped when facing giants like Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, etc.

I enjoyed the opening game today. I didn’t expect anything better than this. Opening games are always like this, too much pressure. Mexico played really well in the first half, but don’t know what happened to them in the second.
The second game was kind of disappointing, but I am glad Uruguay played well, especially when France really pushed it in the second half.
Tomorrow, I want England to kick USA’s ass lol. They don’t even have football, they have “soccer”.
