which should I get?
alright so I am trying to decide what to get in the future...
Should I get a 360 or a ps3?
I am looking for which ever has better mmorpgs, adventure and shooting games.
if you could also list the differences that would help a lot too.

PS3 is better IMO. It has free multiplayer, better games IMO, and isnt as bugged as the 360s are. The 360 is $50 a year for multiplayer, is bugged like crazy (although not as much anymore) and has exclusives that i don't like such as left 4 dead and halo.

I think the 360's better. It (still) has a wider range of games than the PS3 and none of the ones I've played have been any buggier than almost any other game. There's very little difference in graphics between the two consoles, though PS3 games will probably get better.
The good parts of the PS3 is that it's essentially a cheap Blu-ray player with the bonus of being able to play games and it doesn't tend to get the hardware problems (although I think they've pretty much fixed that with the latest 360).

I got a 360 since it's cheaper and I know more people I can add on live.
I still plan to get a ps3, but it can wait until I get a job XD

i may be a bit biased.
but mmorpg's on both are pretty weak offerings.
the 360 has decent shooters and fps and a network designed to keep latency low.
the PS3 has some great adventure games.
i of course speak only of exclusives. of which there are just a handful. i recommend you going with whichever your friends are playing as that social aspect of the console is better than which brand you should go with.
also: you can choose to ignore me, because technically i now work for xbox and really should probably not comment on these sorts of things... >_>

although if i didnt already have friends on xbox i would go with ps3 so i wouldnt have to pay to play online, cos im cheap XD
