That is a good strategy to just wait and find out the truth at the end of E3 Man I remember when I used to keep track of every game, now I am totally out of the loop. Any interesting games coming out? Seems like all of the most hyped games that we have been waiting for are already out. I may check out E3 once the next gen consoles are out.

so far, its pretty underwhelming. more motion controls of course. a new twisted metal. some espn stuff for microsoft. psn live gold plus whatever subscription. natals new name and... gt5 out in nov 2nd (lol. ill believe it when i see it.)
that about sums it up right now but i just picked some headlines there.
oh and steam integration with future ps3 games starting with portal 2. thats pretty cool.

I'm looking forward to the new Twisted Metal and Mortal Kombat, and there's a few other interesting things going around. This is the first year that I've stayed on top of it like I am so it's hard to compare it to previous years, when I just looked it all up after it was over.
But so far it's been what? One day. I don't know about you guys but I didn't expect very much on the first day.

steam integration i think will really help the PS3.
it will provide the level of connectivity that Game for Windows Live offers, but for the PC and PS3 rather than PC and 360.
im hoping that sony gets wise and works with Valve to integrate Steamworks as part of the default UI of the PS3.
hell, sony should know that disc's are obsolete, if they make a deal with Valve for dual-distribution of games on Steam and the PS4 then i cant really imagine any competing console to have a breath of a chance. (why buy an xbox game? when if you buy a PS4 game you can play it on your PC as well as your PS4. all using the same save game!)
anyway...
i have to say, steamworks is a fairly minor announcement, it just has a HUGE potential.
on the microsoft front, i was kind of disappointed. i was eager for Project Natal (or Kinect) but after seeing that its basically used as a damn child's toy like 90% of the Wii's games, i dont really care anymore.
same thing with Move, its just a crappy gimmick that MAY provide awesome games, but its capabilities will never be utilized and forever will be used for dancing with your favorite game characters or playing retarded mini-games.
anyway...
nothing i really care for.
none of the exclusive games really interested me.
i'm gonna save my money for other interesting games.

I've gotta agree that Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft's presentations seems rather meh. But I'm liking some of the third party stuff that's going down on the floor. The upcoming Mortal Kombat title looks like it's going to be significantly better than the last like.... six titles the series has put out. Same with Twisted Metal, not sure if it'll be better than Black but... looks good. Then there's Bulletstorm and a variety of other FPSs that are trying to hit things in another direction.
*Shrugs* I think there will be good games in this lot, just not that many that stand out a ton, which can be seen as good or as bad.

my huge disappointment, no showing of "the last guardian" (game from the people that did ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.
Chances are we'll see it at tgs though. also, an ICO/SotC bluray bundle like that of god of war 1 and 2 for the ps3 would make me cream my pants.
speaking of creaming pants, a friend of mine was pretty excited to hear about the goldeneye remake. personally, im glad its not a 1:1 remake as the game is just flat out old. Its mechanics just wouldnt fly in todays market.
