dilema
I have a really big one xD...I was shopping in a kind of mall here in germany, and I wanted to take a ps3 with me for the time I get back to chile (december)...but now I dont know what to buy..these are the choices
PS3 = 300 euro
Xbox360 = 250 euro
PSPgo = 250 euro
Wii = 200 euro (I think)
Nintendo Ds = 100 euro
which one is better?...I personally like the PS3 more because I heard somewhere that it has more games, and the reason of why I wouldnt buy the psp go is because I dont really like small screen, but if there's a good reason to buy it, I'll do it...please help :/

All I can say is, (and this is not out of personal experience, just what I've heard) the PSPgo is absolutely horrible. It doesn't support UMDs so you're stuck with download only games. If you're going to get a PSP get one of the 2000 series, they still support UMDs and are pretty nice.
As far as the other systems are concerned, it really just depends on preference and game selection.
Also, if you're going to get a DS, you might want to wait a bit, they're supposed to be releasing a new one soon.
The PS3 is nice, but I'm not sure about the newer ones, ever since they dropped the ps2 compatibility I've been unsure as to whether or not they're worth it anymore.

I'd suggest the 360. It has a far wider selection of games than the PS3, and most of them aren't casual games like on the Wii.
The Wii's really only worth getting if:
A. You're a Nintendo fanboy
B. You have friends who are willing to play on it with you
C. You're a middle-aged+ woman or a child under 10
The PS3's only worth getting if you want a Blu-Ray player as well as a console. If you just want a console, then I'd go for the 360.

I'd have to disagree here, but again, I've been spoiled by the good model of the damn thing. I've gotten so much out of my PS3 that I can't even imagine what my gaming life would have been like without it. I've got a Blu-Ray/DVD player, it can play all of my old ps2 and ps1 favorites, and without any memory card hassle, and the game selection doesn't seem that bad to me. Sure if you're looking for shooters the 360's going to have more, but as for rpgs, driving, action/adventure, and even fighters, I've found no issues with lack of decent games.
The Wii has a few games that stand out as not being "casual" but they are few and far between, certainly not enough to be worth buying the console over.
My 360 has been collecting dust for almost a year now because I've been unable to find any games that I'm interested in, that I can't get on the PS3 or my PC. The most recent game I got for it was Dragon Age, which I then turned around and traded in for the PC version. Now I'm not trying to say that the 360 has a bad selection of games, but that with the volume of multi-platform games, and the gaming preferences from person to person, make things really boil down to opinion.

id say for good gamign get the xbox or playstation, especially if you dont like small screens, and the wii is either for multiplayer with friends or kids games, there are some good games but like he said few and far bewteen
it all depends on which games are not multi console and which ones you want to play i guess

actually I never wanted to buy nintendo DS or wii xD, I just put them there to have more options,, but the real fight is against xbox ps3 and psp go...but for what anubis said psp go is nearly discarted...and now I'm still rooting for ps3, for all of what you've said...I dont really like shooting games, they bore me after a while

contrary to popular beleife xbox DOES have more than just shooting games, damn halo /cod XD
but it does have a lot of them XD
maybe look up a games list for each and see what you would rather have, or include what is cheaper, if they have a lot of exclusice games
graphics (although i dont think the difference would matter much)
storage etc.
and if you want a blue ray player XD

lol I would never buy both, only if I won the lottery or something alike...I have hardly enough money for one of them, and I have to pay half of it, and my brother the other half cos none of us can afford a whole one xD
