Bungie + Sony = Master Chief and Cortana on Sony
So Bungie owns the right NOT to Halo, but to the Characters Master chief and Cortana. As you may or may not know, Bungie and Activision are now married! Boo Activision! Anyway, this means that Sony could be getting Bungie IP's (Which Master Chief and Cortana are) but it could not b set in the Halo universe, which Microsoft owns...

sony definatey likes the idea, issuing press statements congratulating the agreement and putting an obvious hope that a game is made for their platform.
but honestly i couldnt care.
Activision is a * of a company and im done with them. it angers me further knowing that they merged with blizzard, meaning that one of the great game developers of our era decided to sell out to the most ethically empty companies we have.
im glad that this whole Bungie/Activision thing is just for a game series, and NOT a merger. Bungie is still bungie, any IP they make they own, they have the rights to all their *. they can make a different game for EA if they want. they only just agreed to make a series, and let Activision be the only seller of that game series.
anyway, i hope Activision fires it CEO who cares nothing about video games and only about profit and selling a rehashed version of a game to everyone every year.
anyway, i got off topic..
Bungie has made games for the playstation before, its not like its new. (Oni for the PS2, i even owned this game!) but that was all before halo...
Bungie is a good company, the games they have made were good, i just hope that they dont make another halo. Halo is getting kinda old, ODST didnt appeal to me at all, neither did any of the spinoffs that have, and will come out. so i hope they use this new game as a way to make a new original IP.

Actually, Bungie improved their game much more. Halo: Reach Beta recently came out and I've started to play it. I actually like it quite a lot. The gameplay is much smoother and more fun. And also, they are almost overloading the 360's graphics system. All in all, much improved from ODST. I personally liked the Halo series, not for its story as much, though it is a solid story, but for its gameplay. I personally think that people rate a series and company far too much on a single bad game rather than on the good things they have done. ODST was a bit of a flop, I get that and agree, but that doesn't mean that the whole Halo series and universe are crappy.

it really does
i did not know that
and oni was possibly the worste game i have ever played controls, level desigsn, general gameplay allllll sucked hard.
and i agree with what was said about activision i wonder how they can still be in buisiness and we know why because they dont care about anythign but the money...and they get what they want...for now

yeah it was pretty bad, i got to like level 3 and regretted owning it.
still, when you say Bungie, you think halo, i seriously hope they work towards a new IP.
