Oh....I didnt know it was a groundhog day thing....I thought they were like that because the anime was based off of a game and depending on what you did on the game thats how stuff would play out....some of it does fill into eachother though XD

If you watch the second series it pretty much explains everything and it also has an awesome fight between Keiichi and Rena. the live action film is a disappointment though
