unless you have the Slim PS3, all non-slim PS3's are crashing and having errors due to some internal error.
sony has said it will take 24 hours for them to issue a patch.

Yeah, I noticed it too late this morning... and in the confusion that followed, I forgot I did not have to be online to play Demon's Souls at all, so I haven't played it all day. xD Thankfully, it does not appear as though my system has been effected, aside the resetting of the PS3s clock and date.

apparently its just games with trophies that are acquired online (even if you arent signed in. i noticed last night when i went to netflix and it wasnt working. looked it up, was afraid of losing my heavy rain trophies and left it as is.
though, there are wide reports that it fixed itself, which i can corroborate as my netflix now works and i can get on psn just fine. havent loaded up heavy rain though. waiting for the official word from sony.
