I honestly don't get why its so much. I mean... I cant imagine there was a lack of printing but i guess most people just never parted with it, myself included, so the only ones out on the market and the same like 3000 or whatever being passed around. eventually those are going to get busted too. a shame really.
but like elder said, now that ff7 and 8 or on the psn store, those prices will likely drop a bit as well. (not for the crazy collectors edition in new condition or whatever)
and yeah, the psn version of ff8 is perfect so far and the sound... soooooo much better. I could play it on my ps3... but theres just some magic to being able to play it on the go, not to mention the graphics are easily more forgiving on a smaller screen.

It probably already sold out by the time you posted that message T-Rex I guess they price it by demand, since just about every other game in the world lowered its price as it aged.

I've bought 2 copies of FF7 in the last year or so, one black bar and one platinum. The black bar cost be £15 on ebay while the platinum version was in a set which also contained FF8, FF9, and a PSone. That set cost me £25 in total, not a bad deal
