i would like to submit madden as a great RPG
i have been play madden on and off since 96 and i think it is an extensive rpg were your characters do battle on the field but instead of spells and swords they have a ball and "armor".
What do you all think?

Actually your players (heros) grow or fall as you prgress through the game. Very rpgish if you ask me!

so... you are saying that since players have stats that makes it an rpg? or at least very close.
well going by that grand theft auto: SA is also an rpg then...
what do you say to that Mr. Dragoon?

whats wrong with it just being called a sports game.
trying to reclassify it will cause people to disagree and argue. its pointless because there are no winners.

ummm no players also age. they learn, and are affected by things that happened to them. I would say it would be an S-Rpg. Just my opinion
