dont get friends and parties mixed up. friends are people that are on a friend list that you can talk to, to party is different. when you party with someone you just joining a few other people. to add frinds enter this command (/befriend {person goes here]) and it will send them a friend request. i hope that helps.

Its also important to note that while all party members have to be a part of the same sever not all your firends have to. You can have friends on different servers you just cant party with them...though you can still message them by using the POL messaging system even while your on the game.
