There's always the classic Super Ghouls and Ghosts.... DAMN that game was impossible. years of experience and I've never finished the goshdarn thing...
As for the last game i've played that was ridiculously hard is probably Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Dark Lord... ugh...

Have the games gotten easier, or have we gotten better?
I for one know that i peaked at about the age of 13-14 and have gotten a bit worse since then.
Back then i could play a video game without worrying about the world around me, and replay a level 500 times just to get that one item that everyone said you can get, but no one has been able to..
In saying this though, i wont deny that there were some extremely easy games back then too, But it just seems that these days there are an abundance.. |
Ah the good old days where your responsiblites were limited and you could get a solid 10 hours of gameplay at a time without getting up XD

The original Ghouls and Ghosts was hard but it was possible to complete. Super Ghouls and Ghosts isn't impossible but it is much harder than the original.
