I was more referring to the "battles" when I was calling it stupid. From what I can remember, the characters were annoying.

Vision of Escaflowne is an awesome anime! I started watching it after DBZ! I might suggest Trigun for you Stappy. I kinda liked and it is a little different, (nothing to do with history though).

first time i saw it the ending eps seemed boring to me
the second time i saw it like a year later i liked it the wole way through guess i wasnt paying attention the first time

I've already finished watching the two anime I mentioned in my last post (except MAR, which has 10 episodes at the end that only seem to exist as the raw version). I also watched another anime series since then as well.
