Here's another one
Hmm.... This one is another one by me from a while ago. I was reading this Lily and James Fan fiction after summer school and it inspired me to write this ><
The Sweet Scents of the Air
Written on: 29th July 2008
There is something sweet in the air.
It’s not too sweet,
And not too sour.
The sweetness is alluring,
Tastes delicious,
Yet filled with loneliness.
The knife is cutting
Through the heavy scent
And breathing in, I find
The air is filled with the scent
That is driving me crazy.
There will never be another scent,
That can replace this one.
Though in all the times I feel empty,
It is this scent that brings me to my reality,
The scent that makes me happy.
So I will sit here and wonder,
Where the scent is coming from.
In love with the scent,
Unable to let it go,
I take a step forward,
And try to find its source.
The scent is drifting,
A small sense of belonging,
A small sense of longing,
A small sense of missing.
It is the sweet scents of strawberries,
That brought me to you.
The sweet scents of mint,
That makes me remember your arms around me.
The sweet scents of watermelon,
That makes your laughs so watery.
The sweet scents of flowers,
That gives me a fresh surprise.
The sweet scent of pine,
That brought me back home.
It is in the mixture,
But for all the scents in the world,
I am in love with the scent of your gentle, delicious love.[u]
