I got 92% on my first try, I was really annoyed that I didn't get more, because i finished all of the sidequests apart from trema and I couldn't see where else I had gone wrong!

I think it's kinda evil... the way they make you every little detail before you can beat the game correctly. I got 99% I tore the walkthrough up and I still can't figure out what I did wrong! GRRRRR! =( And then finally I gave up. *sigh*Oh well.
The official walkthrough is actually flawed though if you use the back of the book that tells you evervything required to get 100%. It skips important little details. It's kinda sad actually. I found that out the hard way. =(

Well apparently didn't know this but it says that when you have to choose between new yevon and the youth league (its in tiny font on caption) choosing new yevon is the only way to get 100% god I could have gotten a walkthrough online for free.
