well really its ideal to beat him at sphere break in the tournemant cos hes ten times easier plus u gt the 1% from it anyway sphere break is simply a game of math there was two ways i beat him
1. pick 2 numbers to add up to the core number and keep doing that to get an massive echo bonus
2. pick 3 numbers to add up to the core number and keep doing that to get an echo bonus
however be warned that sometimes the core number will be 1 and you will have 2 start your echo all over again so be careful!

I remember when I beat him I used one of the multiplier coins... I think it was every time you get the number with same number of coins the multiplier would go up.
