If Laguna is Squall's dad. Why did...
Why did Squall live alone? And he also used to be with Edea as an orphan. After that he grew up and study in Balamb Garden with a surname as LEONHART.

well, its not said through the game at anypoint, it was jsut a lose end that ppl like to tie up that way. and why did he live alone? i would imagine bc laguna was all over the world fighting at the time... something like that. an orphanage is a place for kids who dont have sutable gaurdians. that might have been squalls case.

You find out when you're on disc three and on the Ragnarok with Kiros, Ward, Laguna, and Squall and Co. If you talk to Kiros, Laguna and Ward (not that he actually speaks, only tries to), they give you the answer there. Laguna goes on and talks that there is more to talk about, but he will discuss it later. Kiros and Ward comment that it's a good thing he (Squall) doesn't look like his father (Laguna), but he (Squall) looks a lot like his mother (Raine).
Laguna explains at som point or another what happened with Raine. He says that he went away and that Raine died giving birth to a baby boy - Squall. It doesn't actually flat out tell you that Squall was the son but using all the other evidence it does point towards him. Why else would the game tell you that Raine had a son and then never tell you who it was?

Yea Laguna is really Squall's dad,Raine is Squall's mom too. Actually Squall was born after Laguna left the Windmill village to continue his journey to complete his Travelling journal or sumthing.Raine died after giving birth to Squall.(dats sad)
So,having no one but Ellone by his side.Squall grew up wif his frens at the orphanage.dats why he doesnt really know whose his daddy.
In my opinion from da beginning till da end Squall will never know Laguna and Raine were his parents.he only thinks Ellone as his sister.
But.does Laguna knew Squall was his son? Dat I dun know.wat u guys think?
