first of all, thats a triple post. the 'edit' button is there for a reason.
fafnir is the mark in the paramina rift, that you can only get to by taking the route that takes longest, because if you just speed there, then it will not appear. i think you can tell its there from a blizzard that immeadiately ensues. you can only get to it if you leave the village, then take the longest path, i think. marks are picky like that.

Sadly, every boss in this game has an 'easy mode' tactic for killing. 
I guess if i had to dub one them "hard" it would have to be Yiazmat. He takes a while to kill and can be very annoying at times.
