Grandia III
sooo haine bought Grandia III and played about 7 hours of it yesterday (but maybe like 2 hours of it Haine was talking on the phone lol so haine wasn't exactly playing it lol but anyways! lol Haine was debating which game to buy cause the suspense of KH2 was killing Haine so Haine needed some other entertainment so Haine doens't think of KH2 lol so the games were
Drakengard 2
Shadow of Collosus
Wild Arms 4
Soul Caliber 3
Grandia III
Haine's pretty sure there were other ones too. lol but Haine doesn't remember and Haine chose Gradia III because it reminded Haine of the movie "Dark Crystal" (its pretty old lol so some might not have heard of it)
The games hmm fairly simple so to say becaue the map is already shown so there's no surprises and you see the monster before hand too. Probably the only annoying thing about is the lvling up and the monsters are pretty hard. Its hard to lvl up cause even if you kill like 6 monsters in a battle you only get maybe a little over 20-50 depending on what they are lol so when boss battle comes it gets really hard (they have all those little minions who have almost just as much HP as the boss!). The monsters are a major pain lol (its takes like a couple of mins to do a battle! lol) sometimes they'll only have 3-4 monsters but they have those random battles where there's about 6 or 7 monsters on the field running to you and THEY get first hit, ok not sometimes it happens quite alot lol after you kill a few there's a couple of monster that can call on more monster lol sooo killing one and another coming back is like you've never killed any
Another hard thing about this game is that all your items, you can ONLY carry 9 of each lol yup nine and when your going through a land they only have one spere thing that lets you recover (and its at the very beginning! lol so what's the point of going back there when you walked most of the land already?)
Besides all those the graphics are gorgeous (of course they can't compare to Final Fantasy's later series like FFX but still) the lands are really pretty and the voice acting is just funny lol The town shops are so much fun! lol Haine spent like 3 hours in one section looking around at the section, it really feels like Haine's in a busy town place where she could go shopping (^^) Haine not done looking around at that towns shopping district yet lol. There's alot of other great things in the game as well, like extra things you can do to improve your character or get something better out of the things you find.
In a sense the games pretty challenging if you don't want to stay in one spot and lvl up lol like just fight the monster you run in and move on kinda thing. But if you lvl up before you do more adventuring then it might be easier. (^^) By the way the magic is really cool! It great to murder or just lower enemies HP when there's like 6-7 of them lol

Wow, the worlds are really that big?! Maybe I should look into it.but I need to save for KH2. I already pre-ordered it! I can't wait.

yup yup its really cool! but its not like Star Ocean: TTEOT lol where you have to explore this vast land and run around in circles lol you have to follow this one path that the game gives you lol but in a sense it challenging cause then you can't run away from the monsters lol

Yeah, I played Grandia II. I was kind of dissapointed, but all in all it was a good game. Have you played it Haine?
