i agree with that however, the person would have to be sure that they had a stable job that would allow the person to keep earning enough income in the future to support a child, also in cases where it is a single parent family or if both parents are working they need to be sure that after the child is born they will be able to give it the attention it needs.

well I wouldnt see it like that but I know someone would eventually. To be honest with my view I fail to see the importance of preserving lives when regularly, especially with teens, the child is brought up to be a criminal

Abortion is the canceling of a chemical reaction, nothing more. Until it takes a breath, it hasn't gotten to expierence the world, it isn't legally alive, so it's not a crime.
A fetus is more of a parasite. It lives and nourish's from your body. So if aborting a fetus is 'murder', then soap, mowing lawn, showering... You're killing something that's alive...
Not to mention if someone wants to have an abortion, it's nobody else's business.

If it is functioning, then it is alive.
If it has human DNA then it is human.
Therefore, if you stop the development of another human life that would otherwise have developed, then you have killed it, and if you kill another human being that is murder.
Suprising enough, that is NOT my main problem with abortion. My main problem is that people march under the banner of "Pro-choice" when, in fact, you are taking away the child's ability to have any choice in their short lives. People can do whatever they want in my eyes AS LONG AS THEY DON'T TAKE AWAY THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS!

The mother doesn't have the right to take away the guaranteed liberties of the child. To say so would be unconstitutional. No one has the right to take away the guaranteed rights of anyone else.
If we were to say that the mother has the right to take away the life of an unborn child, then we would be saying that the mother of anyone of any age has the right to take away the life of their children, and that is wrong. The mother had the right to choose before they got pregnant. 99.5% of abortions are for convenience only, not because of any other outside influences that they could not controll. Even if they couldn't control it, a life is now in the world, not coming into the world, IN the world if the fetus is functioning, and since it has come into the world in the US it has every right that anyone in the USA has, that is my stand for those in our country. In other countries, as long as they have a bill of rights, this also applies. If not, then even murder could be justified in such a country if not going by faith.

first i agree abortions now a days is used more like birthcontrol and thats wrong BUT does the mother not have the right to do what she wishes with her body by stopping here from getting abortion your taking away here guaranteed liberties.

Once the life is there, what she says is "her body" is now shared with another life. It is not entirely hers. So she does not have the right to do that. It is not an act of taking away her liberties, it is an act of protecting the liberties of the child. What if the situation was different, and it was two syamese twins, one is a normal adult, and the other, for some strange reason, is developing slower and has not shown any sentient thoughts. But the doctors say that the second is developing the capabilities of sentient thought. Would you say the one who has sentient thoughts wanting to get rid of the other has the right due to the argument that it is his body? No. The same goes for pregnancy and abortion. Her body is no longer her own in its entirety. The thing I don't get is how heartlessly you can say these things. The whole matter is heartless, a mother killing her children. Not giving them the chance of life at all.

I DON'T SAY IT HEARTLESSLY I HAVE BEEN THERE I HAVE HAD TO MAKE THE HARD CHOICE WITH MY GIRLFRIEND I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THAT CHOICE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. And in your scenario the full grown child would have the choice not the one waiting. There are cases where this has happened and the undeveloped or developing one has no choice or rights.

I'm with endy I'm afraid (on the pro-life thing, not the heartless thing). My Aunt had a miscarriage and I have never seen anybody so broken up over anything, genuinely. It is beyond me how anyone could effectively choose to do that to themselves. I'm sorry Erik, I know it must have been a bloody hard decision tomake and all.
